I've just watched it. I didn't think it had been so good recently but that last episode was really touching. 😢

I thought they were running out of ideas and there were times I thought, "not again" to reboots etc. But those last episodes made me realise it touched me more than I though. 😭

Well who'd have guessed it, I wasn't ready...

Excellent way to go out, especially Michael's guitar teacher being played byTed Danson's wife in real life. I think that's when I went for good.

I stupidly watched most of it in my lunch break, on my phone - my colleagues thought something had happened at home because I was so emotional .

Anyone else think they should have ended it on the penultimate episode or am I a soulless wanker?!

I just checked the end of Patty and it would also have been fine...and certainly not soulless. I liked the ''I'm going to walk through the door after 3 days if you don't stop hogging the blanket'' joke.
But I liked the finale as it did not leave open any possibility of a return aside from a Michael on Earth spin-off but Ted won't sully himself will he?! and all ends were tied up. I do quite like the idea of becoming shiny atoms that create good intentions/change shitty behaviour. So for me, the final double-episode worked perfectly. But the preceding one could also have worked (I am easily pleased though and was happy enough with the ending being The solution is always Eleanor when I originally thought end of ch9 was the end!)

I'm glad they didn't leave it on the previous episode. I found the finale quite thought-provoking and I really liked seeing Michael becoming human, and little touches like Tahani reconciling with her family and Jason being monk-like.

I thought the ending was absolutely perfect!

Michael Realman - beautiful! I absolutely lost it at that.

They all got these wonderful happy endings after so many bearimys that were so completely deserved.

It's probably one of my favourite finales ever.
