Anyone watch this on Channel 4 on Fri? I was really looking forward to it as I really love RR and think he comes across as wise, funny, sensible, compassionate and very clever. The show was just not what I’d hoped though. Full of really lame gay jokes and generally unfunny jokes which sounded really scripted. It felt flat and uninteresting. The concept was so promising but it was just a bit cringe imo.

Agree it was awful. Cringy scripted crude jokes. then a bizarre serious segment discussing voluntary euthanasia, then back to crude jokes and a weak final game electrocuting his mother. Confused

He was lucky his mate Jonathan Ross carried the first episode for him.

It's a no from me. I caught it by accident and wondered what on Earth I was watching. Not sure what they were aiming for but it didn't work.

I’ve re watched it and thought parts were quite funny , I think it will get better as that was his first show , I will definitely give the next one a viewing Smile

I agree! I switched off after the first 15 minutes. It was awful - the terrible jokes, non-existent interviewing skills, I didn’t even make it to the euthanasia part. I really wanted to like it, but it was dreadful.
