DD just said that Tom is probably printed on all photos so whoever she photographs, they always have Tom there. Doesn't explain how Amanda picked his photo out of the line up though.

So did Elisabeth / The Haunting just rip off the Sacred Riana'a act then? As she won Asia's Got Talent in 2017 which was obviously well before Elisabeth appeared on BGT. The two acts were so similar but no one mentioned anything which was weird.

The lady doing the sand art reminded me so much of Jenny Lind from The Greatest Showman.....her dress, hair, facial features, everything!

Fun fact - sand lady did a performance of sand art during Moldova's Eurovision entry this year! As soon as she cane on both me and DD went ooh it's Eurovision lady!

Paul Potts looked very sulky but according to twitter that's just his normal face lol!

We met him once in a pub in the Lake District and he was lovely and extremely humble.

I watched it with my DSs today and we enjoyed it. The sand art actually made me cry - never seen anything like that before. I also liked the dad and daughter act and would like to see more of them. Wasn't fussed about the others and thought it felt weird as it wasn't live but we will continue to watch it.

Yes - one judge gets a Golden buzzer to give out & the other act goes through based on studio audience votes.

Why call it Britain's Got Talent - the Champions when it's a selection from across all other countries? Surely they could have changed the title?

The way it was filmed looked so strange almost fuzzy even in HD did not look like normal BGT. Didn’t like the families all sitting there too Eurovision - although the ‘scary’ girl going back to all her freaky dollies did amuse me. The Americans were amazing, Connie was very very good - absolutely loved the sand woman that was an unbelievable talent.

They've done champions versions in other countries with a lot of the same contestants so I assume it's to milk the franchise as much as possible @mum2jakie.
