@Nextphonewontbesamsung was that aimed at my question?!!

Moomin8 · 24/07/2019 18:29

Maura was just incredulous that Jordan would decide to try & jump ship behind Anna's back 2 days after asking her to be his girlfriend.

Sagradafamiliar · 24/07/2019 18:31

Maura could've looked a bit less excited about having the titbit of gossip though, she practically flew over to Anna.

historysock · 24/07/2019 18:32

I don't think Maura was motivated by gossip-I thought she genuinely wanted to be a friend to Anna.

Moomin8 · 24/07/2019 18:32

I think she rushed over because she was letting Anna know before she could be publicly humiliated.

Whisky2014 · 24/07/2019 18:33

Yes, Maura flys off the handle too. Remember she shouted at Lucie "why would you say that?" Because she didn't understand the tone and the way Lucie was asking yewande if Danny loved her.
She can't grasp a different way of arguing or posing questions either. Just the same as Anna.

Yesterday Curtis told Jordan he thought it was a bad move but be couldn't stop him. Today he says he did nothing wrong Confused

Moomin8 · 24/07/2019 18:33

Curtis is the one motivated by gossip.

Sagradafamiliar · 24/07/2019 18:39

I agree. I said she could've looked a bit less excited though.

Curtis is the biggest gossip/drama queen in there. It's the very reason he placed himself as the indispensable fountain of bullshit knowledge of the villa.

Nextphonewontbesamsung · 24/07/2019 18:40

I don't see how Maura rushing off to tell Anna at that precise moment was in the least bit helpful. Did she think Anna would go over and talk to Jordan and it would all be sorted out? The head turning has already happened. She could have encouraged a bit of cool-headeness and dignity in Anna instead of practically forcing her to wade in and cause a scene. It was not India's fault, also.

Moomin8 · 24/07/2019 19:08

I still can't believe Jordan did it. It kind of suggests that he never had genuine feelings for Anna at all 😐

ReeReeR · 24/07/2019 19:34

Had a hectic week so just caught up on LI and the thread.

Jordan is being an arse and I hate that he’s blaming Anna and trying to play innocent. I don’t like how confrontational Anna is but she was right last night. Agree it weird Jordan just assumed India would fancy him... Ovie and India handled it well.

Feel like Chris and Harley will to tonight. Maybe Jordan and Anna? I can’t see many people voting for them.

Amber and Greg seem good together.

I was surprised Joanna didn’t have more to say to Michael on After Sun. I couldn’t work out whether she’s going to see him again or not.

ReeReeR · 24/07/2019 19:35

I think Maura told Anna because she thought it was muggy that J was speaking to India before Anna. She went to tell Anna so that Anna wasn’t left in the dark and finding out after the event.

Whisky2014 · 24/07/2019 19:44

I don't blame Maura for telling Anna but they way she did it was too dramatic and just lined up Anna to be all riled up. She also could have called Anna back and tell her to wait before stomping over to Jordan and causing a big drama. Unfortunately that's what Anna revels in. If she had just waited until the chat finished then went to speak to India about what was spoken about, that would have been better imo and then she would have had something concrete against Jordan

Nirvana1979 · 24/07/2019 20:08

Curtis thinks hes some magical font of knowledge and wisdom ffs. He talks shite all the time. I think MM and Tommy should go, they are pretty dull, Tommy hasnt contributed anything the past few weeks.

Can't believe Jordan...putting that empty box back in the freezer, gave me the rage. My kids do the same!

checkoutno3please · 24/07/2019 20:25

For a 28 yr old intelligent woman Anna is abit OTT. Probably like this as a teenager 👇

Anna has no discernable sense of humour and seems to take herself and life in general deadly seriously.

Every single one of those contestants is self-obsessed to an unhealthy level (they would have to be to put in the amount of effort they do with their looks - the plastic surgery!! they're all under 30 - and even to think of entering the contest) and that doesn't usually make for an interesting companion.

tessiegirl · 24/07/2019 20:34

I don't blame Maura at all for rushing over to warn her what Jordan was up to.

I would have walked straight over to confront him too!

Alexis21 · 24/07/2019 20:37

There is no way this isn't partially scripted they have clearly been given a nudge by the producers it doesn't make any sense . Jordan must be astute enough to realise Michael was dumped from the island for the same shenanigans. I feel it's all a ploy with Anna in on it to increase ratings / cause drama ...

Yawnsville

Wrongdissection · 24/07/2019 20:52

But these people are vilified with an unhealthy amount of social media and press abuse when they leave the villa after this kind of behaviour. A why would they deliberately do that to themselves willingly on the whim of a producer and B why in an era post Sophie Gradon and Mike thassalitis would producers risk it? It’s nonsensical.

Wrongdissection · 24/07/2019 20:54

And ratings are higher for this season anyway.

ILoveYou3000 · 24/07/2019 20:57

It had to be declared if it's scripted. There are rules in place. The producers can direct, as in you three sit here and talk about X, you two sit there and talk about Y, but it's not scripted.

There is also a lot happening we don't see, which is why things appear to come out of the blue.

Jordan's behaviour isn't so out of the realms, read the relationships board. There are threads occasionally from women who have been with a man, have the exclusive talk and then he goes cold and backs right off. Everything just happens faster in the villa.

Whisky2014 · 24/07/2019 21:00

I don't believe it's scripted either. I think people want it to be because otherwise it's too horrible!

itswinetime · 24/07/2019 21:02

Jordan must be astute enough to realise Michael was dumped from the island for the same shenanigans.

Completely disagree here I would guess the islanders think he was in the bottom because he was in a friendship couple so no chance of love. I would guess judging my the attitudes in the villa before that the blame would go on Joanna!

Whisky2014 · 24/07/2019 21:02

Curtis you are a cunt.

AngeloMysterioso · 24/07/2019 21:03

Why the hell does Curtis have to involve himself in everything?!
