What's the name of this late 90's show?

Myself and a mate have been reminiscing about a late 90's dating/ lifestyle makeover show that we can't remember the name of.

It would start with a man or woman who were generally useless at dating. A team of confidence experts and stylists would then bring them out of their shell and make them more confident in dating.

It was sort of like Queer Eye but very British and very 90's. It was quite a gentle series and everyone was rooting for the person in the programme to do well.

If anyone else remembers this please let me know as I can't find it anywhere!!!!

Oh I remember this, they used to get the person to go & give/get feedback in between courses of dinner!

Ah yes that's it! I was a little out with the dates.

I just remember a really lovely quiet lad who'd never left England was sent to Amsterdam and some kind, confident girls befriended him and his confidence shot up.

Jay somebody was the stylist. The confidence coach was gorgeous. I can't remember his name.

Oh, how funny, I was trying to tell someone about a show like this the other day but my memory of it is vague and they didn't know it.

I'm thinking of the one where they had secret cameras on the first date, and one of the panel commenting on things like body language. Is that the one?

Yes thats the one. They had an initial set up date, reviewed it, then tried to build up their confidence. They would then ask someone out on a proper date and hopefully it went better than the first one.

I really fancied the guy who was on it. It was a great show.
