Whats this on OP? I want to watch biy domt have sky...hoping it's available elsewhere now

I saw this and Gypsy on a long haul flight.
Both were really good.

Sharp objects was grim i hated it i don't usually mind gritty but it was awful and I felt urgh watching it lasted 3 episodes

It’s uncomfortable viewing.
It’s very black. There is no sunshine or even a chink of happy.
There is just one single likeable character in it.

I felt stiffled watching it was awful dh stuck with it !

I watched it, it was hard going, I almost stopped at about episode 3 but I'm glad I stuck with it. It was all a bit desolate but it was beautifully made and Amy Adams was fab and I'm usually not her biggest fan.

I think it was on Netflix but I watched it on sky.

Yes it was on sky Atlantic ! I saw gypsy on cbs reality or the crime channel that was insane

Any recommendations of anything similar?

I’m on episode 3, watching on Now TV, and episodes go in about 3 days so want to watch before the go

I think it’s really good so far but there are bits where I’m not sure what’s going on, whether flashbacks or what

I liked the book a lot, is it worth giving the series a chance?

I watched it when it originally aired. Thought it was horrendous! I do like gritty but I thought this was just grim!

I just finished watching it and it was fantastic - loved the twist at the end!
