Archie Panjabi fans - new series on Universal - Departure

Found this new series by chance yesterday and thought I would watch as the Good Wife was never the same with Archie Panjabi.

Univeral seems to specialise in thrillers which have women as the lead characters. Usually quite high powered, but with "problems" - often really unpleasant men.

They are usually very glossy, but have seen one set in Ireland, and this is London, and another in small town america.

Wont give away the plot but if you have any fear of flying DO NOT WATCH!!

Easily as good as Keeping Faith, which series 2 in the English languate version returns to BBC1 soon.

Not near a tv programme at the moment but I think it is wednesdays on universal and 1st episode on catch up.

I watched it, I think it's got promise. I noticed Archie was wearing her Good Wife boots!

hmmmmm ........ I missed the boots! Will keep an eye out as I plan to watch episode 2.

Are you still watching, I have just found it on catch up so only on episode 1 and hope to be up to date for episode 4 tonight

Yes! I am still watching. And without your post I might have missed last night as my bookmark system doesn't seem to like Universal.

Just to say (which makes me very foolish) that after the post about the Good Wife Boots I got distracted looking for them and all I saw was AP in those stupidly high heels, which I think actually look unprofessional. But did see the Boots last night.

Am enjoying the plot as I dont quite know where it is going, and also the filming of London. I am usually irritated by clever camera work, but think it works here.

I also got a bit confused (I use catch up late at night so may not be at my brightest) as I started watching something called Manifest on Sky 1 which is also about a plane disappearing. Didn't think that was so good, more a sort of Lost scenario. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/telly_addicts/3653404-Manifest-on-Sky-One

But definitely want to find out how Departure concludes.

Well, I've now finished watching this. I thought it quite good, but as so often in mystery / crime series the ending was a bit of a let down.

But getting so fed up of tv series with a female lead and they always make them totter round in stupidly high heels.

Much, much prefered this to the silly Manifst.

Though nowhere near as good as I am the Night. Highly recommended
