Is she really insecure? Seems that way to me. Doesn't seem to think anyone truly wants her hence cold shouldering Danny.

Yewande was spot on. She didn’t give him the cold shoulder, she didn’t trust him and rightly so. Soon as someone else shows an interest his head is turned. Yewande is beautiful and was holding out for better, rightly so. Danny is an arse, I very much doubt Arabella will stick with him.

I think Yewande is very popular and well liked by everyone in the villa which is why they all have her back.

Agreed Eaudear...it was only when Arabella showed an interest that she decided she liked him, and then only when the others egged her on that she showed him any affection.
Arabella came in and showed that she liked him and he fancied her- he's done nothing wrong that I can see apart from maybe a few conversations with Arabella that he would have had if Yewande was sitting next to them. But he and Yewande aren't married FGS and at that point she didn't seem very convinced that she liked him particularly...

I think Yewande did herself proud pulling them both aside. No running from one to the other, just get them sat down and get it all out. That took balls and although she was clearly on the verge of tears, she expressed herself well. Danny wants his cake and to eat it- does she want to give him it? Most would jump to do the 'pick me' dance but she has dignity despite being pained about being proven right despite pushing herself against her gut feelings.

Arabella's eyes were lit up, she was loving it.

I didn't see anything wrong with the way she handled that other than the bit about showing affection until the other housemates pushed her. I thought she was assertive not rude.
