I can’t decide how attractive Arabella is but she definitely is attractive. Don’t agree her personally is ugly either. I like that she and Lucie are a bit more natural.

Other than Curtis / Amy, Amber / Michael when Amy / Jordan I’m really not sure what’s going to happen.

If Maura is still giving Tom the cold shoulder then he won’t pick her. Will probably depend on everyone else / who is left

I kind of think Danny will pick Y even if only out of guilt / not looking the bad guy

Anton might still pick Arabella if Danny doesn’t but also don’t think they will want to see Lucie go

I wouldn’t be sorry to see Tom or Yewande go

Oh, I disagree about not commenting on appearances.

I think Love Island is in part about the perception of someone's looks versus their personality. For example, Arabella is stunning on the outside but ugly on the inside.

It's also interesting to discuss how the contestants treat their bodies - cosmetic surgery, make up, working out etc.

No-one needs to be throwing about random insults but I think it's wrong not to talk about looks at all.

Yes of course it is. I know you don’t think she is attractive as you’ve said upthread. I’m saying I think she is. In the real world I think most people would think that she’s attractive - certainly above average? BUT I can’t decide whether she’s as amazingly attractive / goddess as some have said. I think she is striking and has that model look.

Also think discussing attractiveness is part of LI. They are clearly chosen as generally attractive people and it’s part of it. I think Arabella was brought in with the hope that she’d turn heads because of her looks.

Not sure what this Arabella being “ugly on the inside” is about. It’s a bit harsh especially considering how little we’ve actually seen of her since she’s only been in a short time.

I think Arabella is attractive in an unconventional/runway model way. Her personality makes her unappealing though.

I hope Danny picks her though. He obviously prefers her and Yewande is clearly not having a good time in there and I think it'd be better for everyone if she left.

Yeah, I think they are all pretty decent normal kids. It's impossible for them to behave in a 'normal' way, it's such an abnormal situation

I agree. She's barely been in two minutes so it's difficult to judge her personality. I love how she's natural looking, barely any makeup, no false lashes etc. Look how Maura was perceived initially and now (most) people love her.

I also don't think Arabella has a bad personality, I like the fact she's confident and speaks up for herself or goes after what she wants. She's not bitchy and says it to people's faces. Personally I've no issue with a confident woman and respect that.

None of the men are head turners. Any one of them could walk down my street and I wouldn't think, 'wow he's good looking'

Actually think Danny is handsome but not my type, Tommy is cute but reminds me of my brother, Joe is cute but too young and not for me personality wise, I’d probably like Curtis in real life...

@Wrongdissection we have the same tastes except Curtis but I think it’s more his mannerisms that make him less attractive to me.

@unique1986 I never considered the possibility of Tom picking Arabella but now you mention it if he doesn’t want to pick Maura he could save her. Anton will probably (hopefully) pick Lucie.
Tom will probably grovel and pick Maura though.

Looks like a good episode tonight, wonder if they’ll show the recoupling in full or carry it over.

I’d love Maura and Anton to get together, absolutely no signs that it will happen but I think it would be fabulous entertainment value.

I don’t really care whether Danny picks Arabella or Yewande to be honest, bit bored of the 3 of them to be honest, though I’d like to see Arabella get to know someone new and see what she’s like in a different situation.

I just really want someone to fancy Anton. He really reminds me of an ex of mine looks wise and same accent, though said ex was an unshaved slightly more blokey, rugby playing version. I fancied said ex more than I’ve ever fancied anyone else I think in terms of sheer physical/chemical attraction but don’t fancy Anton in the slightest bless him. But someone must surely!
