I don't see the producers wanting Maura going as we have said she is carrying the show this year I think she is safe between Anton and Tom though

Yes Tilda, I noticed the first one on Friday about rating the date. So I didn't bother interacting with it! It's so blindingly obvious what they are trying to do and it's pissing me off. It's like they are restrained from doing anything that shows Amy or Curtis in a negative light. Notice we never see Curtis annoyed? Is it possible in 3 weeks he's never been annoyed or pissed off? He's just mr smiley day in, day out.

I think I may have missed something in the last few episodes as I'm a little confused as to what Danny has done to be seen as such a bad guy by everyone in there. When Tommy was interested in Molly-Mae and Maura, he came out of it fine and almost like the injured party at times! Is there something different between this and the Danny/Yewande/Arabella triangle - feel I must have missed something (probably whilst browsing through MN!) as I'm confused!

I think it's partly that a) Yewande has a lot of support pre Danny lots of tweets comments about her findings her man. Molly-Mae was unpopular from what I remember. b) Tommy hadn't kissed Molly-Mae when he was getting to know Maura Danny has. C) Tommy was upfront slept alone didn't lead either on, danny was kissing and grinding on Yewande in bed over night then the next day saying to Arabella he wasn't sure on Yewande and definitely wanted to see if they had anything. D) people turned on Maura so they were happy with Tommy's decision in the end lots of times on love island reactions are based on wether the islander did what the public wanted. The public wanted Tommy yo pick Molly-Mae he did so he is more popular for it all.

I'm not massively in any camp for this one I think they all have behaved badly but that's all I can see for the different reaction to the 2 things.

I love Maura - she's fab. I'd love her to win the show on her own. Really hope she doesn't take Tom to the hideaway and either goes alone or takes Lucie. He was being such a disrespectful prick.

Danny is a total snake as he completely wanted to keep his options open. The difference with Tommy is that he was totally up front with both MM and Maura at the time. I thought Yewande handled herself brilliantly and Arabella is just a bitch.

Really hope Maura stays in but not bothered if either Lucie, Arabella or Yewande go home.

I found the 'I've fucked it' comment very offensive. Better things he could have said include...

worrier, all the reasons stated by PPs is what made Tommy's situation different, plus the fact that MM was very clear up until that point that her options were open as well.

Yes MM was keeping her options open and chatting to Danny and Anton at that point.

Yewande hasn’t been chatting to anyone else but had started to pull away from Danny - she was cold and standoffish, but also said things about him being too needy and also that while there were some days she wanted to snog him loads, other days she felt nothing. She’s a really bad communicator so it’s been hard to fathom exactly what her reasons were eg insecurity or disinterest or maybe a bit of both. Also whatever her reasons, she suddenly did a mega 180 when Arabella came in and after being coached by the Amber/Michael/Anna squad which was totally fake and really unhelpful to both Danny and Yewande.

However Danny went along with it, then decided it was fake and he wanted to keep talking to Arabella after all but didn’t communicate this to Yewande. He wasn’t as straight as Tommy was, and he and Yewande have been physical. BUT I don’t think he deserved quite the pile on he has received. I also think Yewande needs to take responsibility for her part, and it isn’t helpful of Amber/Anna etc to just say Danny’s a shit and you’ve done nothing wrong as her pulling away played a massive part.

I’m glad she came up with a graceful response to it in the end though, she came off well in that last chance with Danny.

Agree ‘I’ve fucked it’ was bad - like he’s fucked his chance to shag her. He’s so presumptuous, arrogant and twattish. It’s like when he was talking about his options or saying ‘it’s complicated’ or going on about how having had their kiss, that’s that stage reached (I can’t remember exactly how he phrased it) and it was good to get that done sort of thing. There’s zero romance or warmth.

I think Yewande handled that we'll, speaking to them together. I don't think Arabella is used to not getting what she wants. I hope someone new and better comes in for Yewande

I hope Danny picks Yewande. I am not a Yewande fan, but went right off Arabella when she basically tried to force Danny in to promising that he would tell Yewande, it was done and he was picking Arabella.

I think picking Arabella would be a huge mistake.

I hope Tom picks Maura so she can stay in and then she floats off to casa amour and comes back with someone amazing. I don’t even find Tom that attractive and he is sooo boring he was definitely trying too hard to be one of the lads and it failed. It was so cringey. Try hard.

Thanks all for clearing up the Danny/Tommy difference, makes more sense now! Yewande came out of it well last night but do think she has been quite standoffish at times so suppose I understand why Danny is questioning her intentions, perhaps not handled in the best way though.

Also a fan of Maura, wasn't sure to start with but she's definitely livened things up and doesn't take herself too seriously so brings a lot of entertainment!

There's been something I'm not keen on about Tom from day 1 that I can't put my finger on and think the comments last night sounded awful, well done Maura for putting him in his place! Think she also needs a word with the girls for suggesting she had to go through with it too.

I totally Danny questioning her intentions too. I also dont think she is doing herself any favours by pretending the rest of the house wasnt pushing her to do it.

But he would have come out of this looking like a better guy, if he had been honest. Had he have said 'hang on, I am not sure how much is because you like me or how much is because of Arabella... .I need sometime' there woildnt have been an issue. I dont actually think the house had it in for Danny. Well, not as much as First Look made it look. When you saw the longer conversations, the guys were just chatting and being honest. Not ganging up on him.

However, I cant believe the girls seem to have forgotten that Yewande was pushing him away. It's like they have forgotten that bit.
