Blame - yes - why do they try a Brummy accent and then use a long "a" like arfternoon. It was a crap one today as usual. See Decky has got plenty of eye make-up on again - it seemed a bit toned down when she was in the charity shop. I think another poster has compared her to Princess Di with the looking through the eyelashes effect. Vom central.

Depending which part of Birmingham you come from though, you might pronounce a long 'a' in some words. For instance, my friend (who grew up on a pretty rough estate) will say that she larfed, or something was a right larf (laugh).

His accent reminded me a bit of Harry Enfield's when he does that considerably richer than yow character, the son today kept saying yow and it was driving me mad.

Al always sounds like he comes from the north east of the city, I hear a bit of Sutton Coldfield/Lichfield in his accent.

I was more confused by all three members of the family having different accents, with the one who'd moved to Spain (over there) being some sort of super Brummie !

Haha yes, life on the Costa Del Sol seemed to have intensified his accent.

We should have some kind of cliffhanger this week then so maybe that'll be Zara finding out? It's not going to be pretty when she does, is it.

I have visions of the cliffhanger being along the lines of Heston and Marina at Christmas if Zara finds out. Daniel deserves it and I hope he dies.
