For the record the reason I am weary is that as previously mentioned she reminds me of an ex-friend of mine. She used to act all sweet and innocent until we realised she 'innocently' manipulating everyone and turned out to be a big bully.

This thread seems to keep veering towards nastiness and I'm not sure why past threads didn't seem to have this problem.

People can discuss whatever they want I didn't like all the surgery chat earlier so I didn't comment either wait or change the topic You can't police the comments. Of course if it's going to far say something but can it be done nicely?

We are all aware this show is fickle I change opinions on Amber every night and have gone from thinking anton was an idiot to warming to him. At the moment I don't like Amy's actions but that can change too I'm sure.

I agree with the pp I hope the next thread is more lighthearted I like drama on the tv not the thread 😂

That's the strange thing about the show! I have literally changed my mind on people every single episode. Wasn't keen on Amber and now she's my favourite girl. Same with Anton as PP said. We only see an hour every day and it's heavily edited to get publicity and people talking on Twitter etc

There are lots of other places on mumsnet for people to moan about love island or any aspect of it, including the “bitchiness” of people towards the contestants if people want to call it that. This thread and the other love island threads is surely intended for fans of the show to enjoy it with each other, to voice opinions on anyone in it and any aspects of it. If an opinion annoys surely the best thing to do is just scroll on and join in with the bits you like? (Appreciate the irony in my posting this). Feel a bit sad it’s all gone so Pete Tong on this thread in many ways!
