Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special!!!! 2019!

Anyone seen that James Corden has just announced that they’ve been working on a Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special for this year? I’m too excited, it’s just one of my most favourite shows ever and whilst I know (or have heard) James Corden can be a bit of a knob in real life, as Smithy he is just perfect!

I'm beside myself - sod the Christmas parties and food and presents and even sod the Baileys, we'll have Gavin and Stacey. I'm pretty much Pamela going "oh my Christ!" every time I think about it.
Neil, the baby, will be 10 now. Will he have become Neil, the boy?

I'm so excited, but also know that I'll be disappointed it's a one-off and will want to see more! Also mourning the loss of the Big Bang Theory this week; sad times.

Only just saw this old thread and hadn't heard about this - what great news! Smile

This is something to look forward to. My DH doesn't really "get" G&S, so is puzzled when I watch the repeats, and find them just as funny the second or third time around. I love the eccentric characters and the way that certain running jokes keep popping up, plus the Welsh accents and the fact that Nessa seems to have met everyone and done everything, but this is only revealed by random snippets that crop up from time to time. It's Genius and I can't wait to watch this special.
