I am enjoying it in the vein of Fleabag and Gavin and Stacey. Great writing and whoever came up with the idea for Kelly must have spent a lot of time in Essex.
However, it's feeling a bit claustrophobic. I'd like to have seen Cathy on her date at Pizza Express or see her working in the classroom. I start to get a bit stir crazy with shows that are set entirely in one place. That's the beauty of the other two shows being filmed quite a lot on location - great shots of Barry in G & S or London in Fleabag. Really gives you a feel for the world the characters inhabit. Also Peter Mullan's quiet lusting after Cathy is a bit annoying. At least he's finally asked her out for a coffee in the episode I've just watched. Also Pauline is very similar to Dawn in Gavin and Stacey, except she's vile to everyone, not just her partner.
