Seb and the nail bar coronation street

Just catching up on coronation street on the planner . I get the feeling the girl who Seb met at the nail bar when he was fixing the washing machine is wrapped up in some kind of prostitution against her will or sex trafficking ? What does everyone else think? I think than Jan (yan) or whatever he name is the one who used to work for Gary is in on it too

I saw on digitalspy that it's a modern slavery storyline. I don't think it's to do with sex/prostitution. The article says Alina is living in "squalid conditions" (my guess is that it's an overcrowded house share full of other Eastern European women with little furniture, poor conditions) and probably won't see any of her wages because they'll pay her "fees" for being trafficked over to the uk and her "rent."

Sadly, it's not all that uncommon.

I don't think Jan will be in on it. I think he will have also been a victim but recently escaped it (eg why he moved into Eileen's). Not certain on this though. I just don't see him as a bad guy. Could be wrong tho!
