I suppose you can only push the bereaved widow line so far. I hope it culminates with a double wedding that get's right up Cathy's brother's snooty GF's turned up nose.

Excellent. I'm rewatching series 1 and 2 on iPlayer right now. I'm enjoying it more second time around.

Great news, it is a delightful programme, clever scripts that allow you to fill in the gaps rather than spell out every nuance then repeat them because the writers think you are too dim to get it the first time around, plus brilliant naturalistic acting .
