I was wondering about that, told - my mum is a thyroid nightmare and I've never known her to fast for a test Hmm

I've never fasted for a thyroid test, I have it before my medication though as apparently it gives a truer result ?
Maybe they are testing for multiple things though and thyroid is just one ? but only one phial of blood. (They really need us lot on board don't they?)

We don't have anyone to take blood at our GP, I have to go the the hospital or the pharmacy near work do it.

Nuns have the choice to wear a veil or not. It was about 95% veil at my school but I expect that has lessened in the intervening years.

I am bored of BBC Education in every bloody episode.

Oh bugger it blame I went for my thyroid blood test last week and forgot about not taking the tablets beforehand. I'd heard it can skew the results. Typical! I feel so run down and that part of the blood result will show as normal now I expect.

Yes Anne , she'll be pregnant and Rhuma will dole out some sage advice then make a home visit and it will all come out how BT is a home wrecker. Grin

I never take my tablets before my thyroid blood tests. I also had to fast before my first one.

Sharon and Tracey - seriously?? That's been a joke name combo since the 80's - and Amal isn't that old, so Tracey named her daughter Sharon deliberately. No wonder she changed it Grin.
