I used to watch this a lot until only a year or so ago. Never heard of him.

Why the hair?????

He always has weird hair but he's a fantastic chef.

The tasting menu at this restaurant was the best, most mind-blowing meal I’ve ever had!

I don't know how you missed him, he's been on them all. He started as a contestant and has been back as judge ever since. His hair changes every one too. He had a mullet in the early days. Then he went very dark. Last year he was yellow blonde. He always dresses in a very distinct way. Has a love of "alternative" style footwear.

He's my favourite. Got someone the tasting menu for 2 as a present once and they said it was fabulous.

The first time he was on he did an amazing fish dish, we sat with our mouths open and decided that we had just watched the future. Everything looked dull and boring next to it.

Also, he has been in GBM a few times.

You’ve noticed him and started a thread about him, it works as a visual trade mark. That might not have been his original intention with his hair style, but as a rising star having something which makes you stand out and be instantly recognisable gives you the edge.

Not all attention is good attention though.

I do think his furry slippers look very comfy.

He seems very kind when dealing with the contestants.

For someone quite bulky he has a very soft and calm voice.

He seemingly studied ballet for 7 years as a child. He’s obviously very much his own man and doesn’t feel the need to conform.

Thanks for the thread. How did I miss one of my favourite shows was back on the telly! I blame the new dodgy time the show is on.

That’s my day of cleaning put on hold until I catch up on the programme.

I hadn't realised this was back on already so I've had to catch up this week. I'm up to date now.
