What children's programmes do you really hate?

For me - anything on commercial TV - I WILL NOT EVER NEVER WATCH ADVERTS on Citv or Nickleodeon and not even Channel 5's Milkshake (and there's plenty for the Dads to be interested in there) SO DON'T EVEN TRY.

Also from CBeebies:
Bits and Bobs - this trugs me right off with its crappy, repetitive, unimaginative rubbish and poor animation (I think it's over now - let's pray it never returns).
Big Cook, Little Cook - these guys clearly hate their own programme: does nobody realise that these guys are the comedians behind Electric Forecast and this is just the day job because they've got mortgages?
Higgledy House - where do I start? Even DD1 gets up to find the toybox when this comes on.

If I hadn't deleted commercial children's TV from the digibox altogether, I suspect Barney the dinosaur, Angelina Ballerina plus adverts would make me donate the TV to charity so she'd have to play with some of the mountains of unused toys instead...

Me and DS luuurve In The Night Garden though. And I quite like Boogie Beebies as it gets him jumping around. The Shitey Show is annoying, and Brum is rubbish too (can you tell yet that we only watch CBeebies?)

Todd World - God the moral messages are just sledge-hammered home.

Barnaby Bear - his voice!! Argh!! (And that song - We wish we were a fish...surely that's grammatically wrong?).

DD hates Me Too ("Can't watch Granny Murray!! while backing away anxiously).

Reading through has reminded me how much I hate Bits and Bobs, Barnaby Bear and Lunar Jim too.

I dont like Power Rangers either actually. ds likes that too. Its so violent and the people in it are teenagers. Its odd.

I really hate Big Cook Little Cook too and the crap way they run their cafe. No choice - they just cobble something together themed to your occupation. Can't wait to see the episode when Gordon the Gynaecologist pops in.

Big cook little cook - rubbish in general, but also surely it can't be good for children to see presenters looking so dead-eyed, fake and obviously not into it?

HATE dora the explorer - boring, repetitive schlock just hearing it drives me bonkers. "Ohh meeeaaann!" - AAAARRRRGGGGHHH

Muffin the sodding mule and Andy FECKIN Pandy - equally ill-advised, bizarre, pointless and unbelievably sexist piles of utter claptrap. I do not know what CBeebies execs can possibly be thinking when I see them alongside the more imaginative, progressive and funny stuff.

Barnaby Bear - glad others hate this too - I always stare at it in open-mouthed horror and fascination - the girl who plays Becky is obviously talented and does her best but the whole concept is weird and why does he have to be voiced by a 60-year-old Yorkshirewoman? It's like some kind of disturbing dream.

Toddworld - ick.

Come outside - hate the dog and the awful stilted RL workers having to say "Helllo aunty Mabel" ugh

Storymakers - Jelly and Jackson and most of the presenters make me cringe but I will watch it for Milton or Byron, and I like Blue Cow (should have her own show!).
