Can't stand the lunchtime love-ins!

The Gobbys will make it right with Small Boy - looks like they manage to break him as well!

blamethecat · 01/04/2019 14:11

Gobby is way over invested.

Raahh · 01/04/2019 14:12

Jimmi and Al are the best bits.

Gobby , you are deluded.

NutButterNutter · 01/04/2019 14:12

That ending suggests they're wrong...

FuzzyPuffling · 01/04/2019 14:12

Off to mow the grass now before it rains tomorrow. See you laters hoodie-fans!

Raahh · 01/04/2019 14:12

Gobby should also be sacked as a foster carer.

SubisYodrethwhenLarping · 01/04/2019 14:17

I think SW have a very hard job

They really are in a very difficult position

NutButterNutter · 01/04/2019 14:42

Yes it's so hard and she's right in the sense they're damned if they do, damned if they don't. Gobby was the worst sort of busybody in this storyline. Yuck.

A patient!! But despite empty waiting room...will be a long wait!

Oh, hang about I spy another in there!

Smotheroffive · 01/04/2019 17:18

Do not feel sorry for sloppy SW! Completely rubbish statements taken, no in depth anything at all. Sadly all too true though, at either extreme!

Smotheroffive · 01/04/2019 17:29

Jeeez Time out Val!! TMI for the poor sti lad!

Smotheroffive · 01/04/2019 17:32

Ooo Karen, you're not their DM too!

SubisYodrethwhenLarping · 01/04/2019 17:35

smother I do not think the SW in this storyline has done a good job at all

I meant in RL that SW probably have a very hard job.

Too many children and families and not enough time or resources available to them to help them properly

Smotheroffive · 01/04/2019 17:43

Ah yes, I get you. I also think RL doesn't do it well either. I have seen too many cases done very badly, and as a rule ss and sw are not widely trusted, and jump to the most bizarre conclusions.

Scarey job, but they're supposed to be the experts and RL experience doesn't always show great intelligence in this.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/04/2019 17:45

Oh that court ending made it look like they've made a mistake. Still, Whiney Mikey deserves all he gets.

Al looked lovely in his suit.

So it seems Zara's the one thinking of taking Joe on safari... unless she's planning a whole family holiday...

6tl looked a right fright in her red polyester blouse and Barbie-pink lipstick.

Smotheroffive · 01/04/2019 17:47

Yes, uncanny the safari plot for Zara!

SubisYodrethwhenLarping · 01/04/2019 18:05

My Safari idea was purely cos I was thinking of holidays you would wait to take an older child on (rather than a younger one that would be harder work but also the child would forget it as they got older)

But very funny that Zara is the one with the safari brochure GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Maybe they will go to Botswana and get Mrs T/Rev T back to discuss locations/ideas etc SmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

MadisonAvenue · 02/04/2019 08:19

Anne I thought the same about the ending too.

I laughed so much at Al and Jimmi and the photo board Grin

I’m all caught up now! We were away on holiday last week so I had five episodes to watch.

Raahh · 02/04/2019 08:26

Something has got to happen to Mikey.

It was left with Gobby being far too smug, and Jadie still being way too odd for my liking. Gobby has always been a 'comedy' character, a bit irritating, but not malicious- this storyline has made her down right nasty, and I don't like it.

And she got more and more Hartley Hare as it went on Grin.

MadisonAvenue · 02/04/2019 12:53

She has, hasn't she Grin and there's definitely something off with Jadie.

I wonder if we'll see a resolution to this - dyspraxia or abuse - or if Mikey will just be another foster kid who Gobby fought for and then forgot about. Just where is James btw??

Raahh · 02/04/2019 13:01

It feels really unfinished, and as though something else is going to happen.

But at the same time, we've been watching long enough to know, that this is what they do. Grin and it will join the long list of storylines that we will remember, but the writers will forget about ( until the work experience kid finds a pile of scripts in a tray and cobbles a few plots together).

And yy- where is James Grin?

And as they were so quick to throw 6tl under bus at the hearing, why was there no mention of Rob leaving a baby that he and Gobby were fostering, alone in the park?!

Raahh · 02/04/2019 13:03

I might not be able to watch today.

Virgin keeps going off.

It came back on long enough for Bargain Hunt, and has gone off again. Angry. I'm having a rubbish day, so this is the final straw!

Grin
Redshoeblueshoe · 02/04/2019 13:33

Don't worry Raahh we'll keep you posted.
Unless it's sooo bad that we all die of boredom Grin

Raahh · 02/04/2019 13:45

Thanks, Red!

It's back, but keeps going off. I might just get to watch.

Redshoeblueshoe · 02/04/2019 13:46

Mum looking daggers

SubisYodrethwhenLarping · 02/04/2019 13:47

Well she isn't happy
