Those blokes are seriously creative, the amount of work they have done is staggering.

Surely he's the bloke from Blur first

moondog · 04/07/2007 23:02

Nope
Could think of nothing worse.

Carmenere · 04/07/2007 23:06

It is really interesting, well I find the process fascinating

that stuff where DA created a new five pointed way of composing inspired by the five points of the communist star was crazy, borderlne brilliant, yet somehow the musicians looked not convinced

Carmenere - absolutely. DP (muso) was just pondering why Damon Albarn got involved with what made him famous. He is apparently an amazing musician (pianist particularly).

Decided not to watch it as need to sleep though! But yes, seriously creative they are.

It was absolutely gripping. Was supposed to get an early night but could not stop watching.
Was stunned at Damon's musicianship too. Liked Blur OK, like Gorillaz, had no idea he was so thoughtful and wideranging in his musical interests.
Nice chance to see an ondes martinot in action to - and am now convinced a glass harmonica is used in the soundtrack to In the Night Garden
Better book your tickets at Chatelet Carmenere, I bet Manchester is sold right out
