I don't understand why there's a thread criticising another thread. God, there are THOUSANDS of threads on here which I have absolutely no interest in so I avoid them. I happen to have found the Joseph thread chatty and friendly and one where I feel like I'm part of a conversation. There are lots of threads on MN where posts can be overlooked or ignored(unless you're an infamous MNetter, of course ; I happen to like being on one where my posts are acknowledged.

So leave our thread in peace, please!

Well said, Slayerette! I'm there for the chat too as they're a good bunch, and frankly couldn't give a flying monkeys about what someone's called the 'competitive ponceyness'. It's all harmless bollocks, so why do people bother wasting their lives posting wind-up threads? Haven't they got any friends to play with?

Really, I was inspired by the poncy activities thread for kids, theatre going is quite poncy although I do like a trip to the theatre. Wasnt meant to be hurtful, just fun.
