teta, I agree with all that and it was nice those families let us have a little glimpse into their eyes.
I felt the same about the twins too but it is probably inevitable and probably good for his to have learned to care for his brother. It was nice to see he seemed to have the close bond my twins have. I used to have to ask one what his brother was saying at various times - very young child and then as teenagers as no one one the planet understands them as well as their twin (and mine don't have down's syndroms but one as a small child always knew what his twin wanted and was better at explaining).
