Who's leaving this week? Could it be...

...Billi the posing snake in the grass?

...Carole the overworked overlooked skivvy?

...Tracey the abrasive nicotine fiend?

Place your bets!

I thought the nominations were rough on Nikki. Will she ba able to handle going back in, as Oenophile says?

I thought that Charley would be the best to go back in cos she will really cause a stir, but you are right, she would just see it as the public voting her to stay in. And, to be honest, I am not sure I can be bothered to listen to her nonsensical screamings anymore. This would just be asking for a huge, one sided, screaming match!!

I am not sure that I agree it is planned to keep Charley in. Aren't these things planned out well in advance? They are not to know that there will be a character who will create a stir like Charley? Oh, no that sounds stupid, they chose her for that reason I guess?

allmytimeonmumsnet · 11/07/2007 15:31

trouble is everyone knows what Charley is like so it will be no big shock for people to see Charley slagging them off. she will be saying just the same things she says in the house already. Therefore the whole thing will be a pointless exercise.

Nicky on the otherhand will probably say things that will stir up a bit of trouble so her going back in will create far more effect. However like others have said I can see her refusing to go back in and then were will they be.

I think the whole thing is a bit naff and not thought through properly myself. Like the aussie actress. What did it really achieve. I think they do have to think on their feet though - I'm sure its not all worked out. I think that is why they decided to tell Brian - because her being there was a bit let-down and they wanted more effect. But even telling Brian didn't really achieve anything did it!

bananabump · 11/07/2007 15:58

You poeple don't actually vote do you?

I like BB but I've never voted in my life, I leave it to the teenagers with too much money on their phones.

I'm a bit fed up with BB at the moment because of all the screaming. Screaming when they saw pauline on screen, screaming when she came in, screaming when they saw her room... I'm sick of having to turn the volume down on the tv when anything mildly interesting happens.

OP posts:
wheresthehamster · 11/07/2007 16:10

Is Pauline staying until she's sussed out or is she there for the duration?

Not that I'm bothered - as others have said, a bit of a damp squib the whole fake week thing.

fairysnuff · 11/07/2007 19:57

Just watching BBLB and the actress is on it?
Does that mean she is out then?
That was a tad pointless!
I missed the interview, DD beckoned!
So, they told brian that she was a fake??
When? and, yeah, uh Why??
Will I see that tonight?

bananabump · 11/07/2007 20:49

What an anticlimax!

I feel uncomfortable about the humiliation of the housemates this week. I know they are all (with the exception of Carole who at least has a social conscience) a complete waste of space but BB are scraping the bottom of the barrel with this type of manipulation.

I hate myself as well for caring enough to post

imaginaryfriend · 11/07/2007 21:38

I know what you mean hamster I'm feeling the same. too much manipulation. I also thought the food and sleep deprivation was a bridge too far. This is a depressing year for BB.

bananabump · 11/07/2007 22:13

It's starting to really bore me because none of it feels real, the housemates are constantly second guessing BB, and it's not very fun viewing.

All that spiritual humming crap was dull and lame. And in the end they told Brian she was fake anyway, what's the point?

OP posts:
wheresthehamster · 11/07/2007 22:23

I'd forgotten about the food and drink thing.
Utterly pointless. As if they had a fighting chance of passing it.

glitterfairy · 11/07/2007 23:09

Brian was priceless though being a spy and doing his routine in the toilet. My kids were on the floor and watched it three times shrieking with laughter.

Best bit this year I think.

Nicky out on friday.

SecondhandRose · 12/07/2007 08:11

Oh no get Charley out, let her bitch and then they'll let her back after they've seen the interview. Sparks will fly.

Brian brilliant and a the winner for us. Might even put a tenner on him.

sockmonkey · 12/07/2007 08:55

Brian is this years Glyn. I like him & Liam for the final.

imaginaryfriend · 12/07/2007 22:10

I'm quite fond of Gerry and I thought he handled Charley's tantrum really well. I would have found it very hard to keep my cool faced with one of her onslaughts. It's hard to have any positive feelings towards her at all with the way she shouts abuse at people and really truly does think she's the most gorgeous person that ever lived - that comment she made about Chanelle getting some limelight if she was gone was untrue. Unbelievable.

glitterfairy · 13/07/2007 07:31

I loathe nicky and charley they both need to go they are the poisonous duo this year and I hate the fake sorry big brother charley does when we know fine well she is not sorry at all.

SecondhandRose · 13/07/2007 11:53

I actually find Charley quite frightening in a weird way.

imaginaryfriend · 13/07/2007 12:24

I think Charley is dangerous. She's not annoying / amusing like some of the other controversial housemates have been in previous series. her aggression and hatred for other people is extreme. Like Gerry said, she could well incite the wrong person to violence.

I think she could be quite mentally unstable, definitely sociopathic and when she leaves the house and sees how she's been hated in the press it could be too much for her to bear. Look how she's behaved about being up for eviction saying things like 'I want to know which mother-fucker stabbed me in the back' as though she's the only person ever to be nominated. She's got no empathy, no good emotions for anybody.

Very scary. A big mistake on the part of BB letting her in.

fairysnuff · 13/07/2007 21:30

No surprise there then!?
Thats Charley out!

imaginaryfriend · 13/07/2007 21:36

... and in again ...

I must confess I'm slightly looking forward to the look on Chanelle's face when Charley walks back in again!

fairysnuff · 13/07/2007 21:36

But di you see that conversation she had with Brain when he was upset over hearing his name shouted?
She was lovely to him.

She is just emotionally immature, doesn't know when to stop, that causes her to be unaware of the reprecusions of her actions.
Also she is so self involved that, even if she did know what they were, she wouldn't care!
But I know, she is going to struggle with reality when she gets out. She doesn't realise that she is having a negative effect, she thinks she is going to be loved for her openness (as she see it).

wheresthehamster · 13/07/2007 22:28

Yep, Chanelle's face was BRILLIANT!!

stressteddy · 13/07/2007 22:33

That was just plain weird. Why did they interview her like that? Why no cheering or booing when she came out
Bizarrre

fairysnuff · 13/07/2007 22:34

And, as predicted, Charley is giving it big licks with how much the public likes her! Uh, I am not sure that is the truth is it Charley!?

She's giving it, I like Chanelle right, she's a nice girl, don't know why we don't get on. God I hate her she is awful, whats she sayin that bout me for?

Euh!

stressteddy · 13/07/2007 22:36

Don't like, don't like, don't like!
BB has lost the plot IMO. Celeb BB is now better by miles than the normal BB
Roll on next year!!

sockmonkey · 14/07/2007 10:20

It was a really strange one. I take it she must have been lying that the public loved her. "there were billboards with my photo on" ?!? And they were chanting to get you out too!
sheesh, completely lost the plot.
Ziggy was not impressed with Charley saying he was too blond highlighty and tan for her liking. hehehe.
