Absolutely gutted that I've just finished season two of this. One of the best things I've watched in ages. Has been my daily maternity leave treat when feeding DD and now I've finished it I'm a bit bereft! I loved it.
Does anyone have any recommendations for similar shows? We've got Netflix and Amazon.

Just finished the second series. I have to say that I'm watching more for everyone other than Midge as she is turning into an irritating arsehole.

I binged watched both seasons of this. I really really love it.
I don't love Midge the character much. She is not a particularly nice person (me me me) - she is an appalling friend, a dreadful daughter and girlfriend, and pays no attention to the children ( who is it that looks after those children 24 hours a day - and who is going to look after them when she's on tour?! ) but the whole ensemble is just so watchable.
I love the set pieces where they film a scene non-stop for aaages and there's a ton of stuff happening - that must take major co-ordinating. (the one at the Catskills where they arrive on the site an there's a dozen 'minion's unpacking the car and various conversations going on )
I love love love Susie. That is an awesome character.
I love the outfits.

I love the attention to detail. Suzie is a fabulous character, along with both sets of parents. Sugar yes she is a terrible friend, without spoiling for others her takeover of the wedding speeches at her friends wedding and what she revealed!

bakingdemon I liked Girls Revolt too. Sadly, I believe it only going to be the single season though.

I agree with those who say Midge is entitled and a but unlikeable, but then, even though I loved GG, I eventually felt the same way about Lorelai.

I watched the Bold Type after Mrs Maisel and though it's quite fluffy in patches I really enjoyed it

Anyone started Season three yet? I have to admit, Im not enjoying it as much,
