It's back 😊

Its the usual, a couple with two young kids who have never been to Australia.

I'm watching on catch up. It's on weekdays at 11am.

I really liked that family from Northern Ireland on today's show.

I can't find the updates on the BBC website??

MadisonAvenue · 05/01/2019 07:30

Sarah here’s the page about the family from NI. You have to scroll quite far down to read the update.

I must have been watching a different episode yesterday, the family were from Preston I think.

MadisonAvenue · 05/01/2019 13:33

It’s repeated on BBC2 the following morning so perhaps Sarah watched it then?

SarahBeeney · 05/01/2019 16:17

Thanks Madison.
I record it on a series link so assumed the one I saw was the latest one. Smile

comebacksoonsusan · 05/01/2019 16:53

I was on the in player so I probably clicked the wrong one.
I prefer the New Zealand ones best for seeing a life that actually looks desirable (to me at least).

Bowbridge · 07/01/2019 20:50

I liked today's family. Very in love! Ahhhh.

Schmoobarb · 07/01/2019 21:33

@comeback you forgot the walk in wardrobe. Life changing stuff.

LIZS · 07/01/2019 22:00

Had to laugh at the indoor climbing session - it is not like you can do that in UK is it , especially if you live near the Welsh border! Was there an update on the website, was there an issue taking the eldest too?

MadisonAvenue · 07/01/2019 22:14

There was a very short update, just saying that they were going through the visa application process.

RebootYourEngine · 08/01/2019 17:17

Just binge watched up to today's. Best way to spend an afternoon Grin

I found the family whose husband was an architect or designer the wife was quite negative about a lot of things. Loved when they watched the video of the estate agents. She really was not happy.

Wanted down on revisited on now. Single mother of three Zoe wants to move to Oz. Eldest daughter point blank didn’t want to go. The children’s grandmother said she didn’t want them to go either.
She has a budget of 150k and works as a social worker.
The daughter is in tears saying she doesn’t want go. How does Zoe think she’s going to make friends so easily in Oz? It takes years to build up friendships.
I think it’s selfish taking children abroad when they have their dads still in the UK. I can’t imagine many men would be happy if their estranged wife wanted to move to the other side of the world with the children.

BooksAreMyOnlyFriends · 14/02/2019 12:02

It was a non starter from the off really today. With the children's dads and the new half siblings in the UK it was never going to be easy for her to get her way.

Plus she wouldn't earn enough to be able to fly back more than once in a blue moon. And now there's another baby on the way by another dad it will only get more difficult for her.

Really annoyed by the slagging off of the houses. This annoys me in general about property shows. It's someone's home. Keep your rude thoughts about their furniture and colour scheme to yourself. 'An old man must live here' Angry

Mynamenotaccepted · 14/02/2019 12:37

Books totally agree with you regarding slagging off peoples homes. Do wonder what they would say about my home, but all property programs can be quite nasty sometimes.
