I’m super happy about the result. I thought the country was so madly football focused that no one else would get a look in and G is a great winner.

Now we need to persuade the newspapers that all the football coverage is OTT and can we have more cycling please, and netball and kayaking and orienteering and any other sport that women participate in too and people actually do in their spare time not just watch overpaid prima donnas on the telly do.

So pleased for England Netball! Tracey Neville should have won coach of the year- they’re achievement in the Commonwealth Games was outstanding- to beat Australia in Australia!

I agree - I thought things would change after the 2012 Olympics but no.

Netball is the 2nd highest participation sport in the UK. Whilst coverage is improving it’s still woefully poor.

Dina should have won or at least made the top 3. Lewis tax dodging Hamilton made it of course. Grrr.

No women in the top 3 either. Took a massive campaign to get Jo Pavey there a few years ago.

I wanted Lewis to win. Sick of moaners going on about him tax dodging. Don't many other sportsmen/women live abroad?

If I had a choice between UK - shit weather and lots of crime or Monaco - much better weather and practically no crime I know which I would choose.
