Please present yourself in front of BBC 1 at 9PM and ask for the horrible bosses.

Funnily enough I had an interview today. I didn't cry- yay! But when they asked me if I had any questions for them, I had none- nay! I have never been asked that question before and it just threw me.

santa it's live on BBC2 now. Or if you mean the show from tonight, it should be on iplayer sometime soon.

I'm really annoyed about the way he spoke to Sabrina, he basically was saying yeah yeah blah blah you're fired.

I can't believe Camilla is in the final, he definitely copped on to the dairy free being a good way to go, I still don't get how she's only being trading three months but managed to do the show and get the business plan in place, methinks she has a lot of help that we haven't heard about.

Thanks for the thread dillite, I been missing on most of them but always watching, catch you all Sunday for the final Grin

HollowTalk · 12/12/2018 22:39

Am I watching the wrong thing? I found this on iPlayer and it's just the candidates' families saying how great they are. I want the rottweilers to be let loose on the candidates!

santababyconvertible · 12/12/2018 22:49

@HollowTalk same but I can't find the actual show from tonight so just making so with this for now.

ChippingIn · 12/12/2018 22:52

It takes a while to get onto iplayer.

PrincessScarlett · 12/12/2018 23:03

I wanted Khadija and Sabrina in the final. They both had decent businesses. But what do I know!

I think Sir Alan can see the nut milk being a winner with all the allergies around today and with someone like Camilla he can completely change the brand, production, everything about it as Camilla will be easy to "mould" into what Sir Alan wants.

I think with someone like khadija who is very headstrong and knows what she wants he wouldn't stand a chance in trying to change anything

It was a bit mean for Linda to bring up that Khadija shouted at her when she was mean to all of them and interrupted and talked over them all. I guess it was a fake excuse to get rid of Khadija as Karren, Claude, Sir Alan and all the interviewers said they were very impressed with her.

Still don't understand or know about all these pool parties the 18-30 year olds are supposedly attending. I must be well ancient!

Binglebong · 12/12/2018 23:21

Really pissed Camilla got through with her incredibly sexist branding. She obviously thinks it is fine (I wonder who was.pushing the sexy packaging last week!?) but it needs to be discouraged, not held up as a way through to the final.

Is anyone else imagining a future AIBU? My DS/DD/SIL has got a big investment in her business. She wants her family members to work for free (while she takes a salary) as we "haven't got a job" and family should come first. AIBU to think she is the ultimate CF?

AnotherPidgey · 12/12/2018 23:25

I didn't think Camilla's performance had been strong enough to make her a finalist, but there were several times that Suralan made reference to it in the boardroom, so he was clearly interested in the product.

Sian is a worthy finalist.

Which one of them will over-sex their way out of being hired? Camilla has the more Suralan friendly product, but Sian has more sense.

I liked Sabrina. A shame it wasn't the right business to invest in. She reminded me of Alanah a year or two ago, that young, fresh style who isn't taken seriously by other candidates, but actually had a strong dose of common sense (that is ignored!)

There always was the danger of Khadija being too feisty.

PrincessScarlett · 12/12/2018 23:36

Agree Binglebong about Camilla and her sexist branding. There is something quite uncomfortable about her getting to the final based on not one sexist branding incident but many. It doesn't really send out a good message. Sir Alan obviously rates the but milk as investment.

As much as I don't get Sian's business idea I hope she wins as she's come across the most professional and intelligent in this whole process.

PrincessScarlett · 12/12/2018 23:38

*nut milk!! Bloody autocorrect. Now I'm coming out with innuendos. It's catching!

SinisterBumFacedCat · 12/12/2018 23:39

I'm still in shock about the nuts milk porn.

Yoo hoo!

NeverTalksToStrangers · 12/12/2018 23:41

I can't abide either of the finalists.
Sabrina was the best of an awful bunch.

FloralCup · 12/12/2018 23:43

I don't know how Khadija got to the final - she has a cleaning business. Been running it for 3 years I think she said but hasn't paid herself for 18 months (?). How is that a great business? And the interviewers were having a go at the others for not having a unique product - it's cleaning, hardly something new and exciting.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/12/2018 23:44

If Suralan wouldn’t want to be associated with a product that encourages drinking to excess, why on earth was he on the show in the first place?

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/12/2018 23:44

By ‘he’ I mean Daniel - sorry.

RedForShort · 12/12/2018 23:50

I’m at a complete loss as to how this is nice:

The pants are weird. Very weird.

Don’t like either finalist. Probably my least favourite out of the five; that’s including Daniel, who I kind of liked then radidly went off when he said ‘I might have written it’. Why did he get the “just say yes” comment.

NeverTalksToStrangers · 12/12/2018 23:55

redforshort hideous.

But this is worse. Wonky boobs.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 13/12/2018 00:02

Those are dreadful - is she on glue?

lazymare · 13/12/2018 00:11

They were wrong about Sabrina's business. The whole point was that she doesn't need her own courts. That would limit the number of tournaments. Though as a parent I hated helping at mini comps. Far happier now to watch from afar.

Binglebong · 13/12/2018 07:56

I agree lazy. I was waiting for Sabrina to say "not having our own court is deliberate. It means we can cover a far wider area giving a bigger customer base and it can be franchised." But she didn't. The over booking and cancelling thing really annoyed me and put her out of the running as far as I was concerned. I liked her up to last week when she just pissed me off.

I think one of the strengths of K's business is that it isn't original. Cleaning is something there will always be a market for. Nut milk or overpriced ugly swimsuits not so much. I think she was the most credible candidate in the final five by far.

SaffaQueen · 13/12/2018 11:59

Camilla being in the final is an utter joke. Poor branding aside & borderline unprofessionalism with facial expressions & chirps, her product looked like something you can whip up yourself for a fraction of the price. It may be dairy free, but I wonder how healthy it really is.
Anyway, bring someone who does purchase dairy free milk, there is a lot of competition out there - new products added frequently by both the bigger players & new brands.

I wish someone had asked Daniel how exactly he “created” his product... isn’t it essentially a Rehidrate knock-off (that you can pick up in Boots)?

lazymare · 13/12/2018 12:21

I agree about the cancellations being shocking. I'm a dreaded over-ambitious tennis mother and give up my time and money to get my child to competitions. It involves planning ahead. To then just cancel would get you a very bad name very quickly. The system is shit so the kids need to get high numbers of matches in to progress and court time is precious. Does she really understand that, I wonder.

Nothisispatrick · 13/12/2018 12:28

Just coming on to say I would’ve fired camilla on the spot for that shocking jizz mouth photo

3catsandadog · 13/12/2018 12:36

www.mylkplus.com/faqs

Camilla has a major retailer stockist now!

SaffaQueen · 13/12/2018 12:45

I hope that doesn’t mean she won.
If she did I also hope she now pays her family. Daniel and her almost seemed proud of their zero staff costs!

Check out one of her competitors- justmylk.
