I don't think we've spoken of Buffy for a while now. Let us speak of Buffy and her adventures, intrigues and puns.

I will start: series 1 is fun but DATED, man.

I've been watching Buddy all night on amazon! The series 3 finale is just starting, I still bloody love it! I was so into it as a teen, but nobody at school liked it. My sisters and I watched it from the very beginning, our grandparents had Sky back in the day and recorded the Buffy film - which we watched loop when we were there.

I borrowed the original Buffy movie from the video store as a teen when my DPs were out for the evening. I got to the end, rewound it and watched it all over again immediately.

I’ve watched it with DD but we stopped after OMWF because she wanted me to promise her that nothing bad would happen to Willow and Tara and they would live happily ever after. So BTVS has 5 and a half seasons in this household. Buffy and Spike snog, red curtain, The End.

The original movie that was done years before the Buffy series you mean? That film's shit I think, not even worth bothering with

Ah my people!!! Buffy is my happy place and I’m so glad it’s on Prime although I rewatched it all twice on the sci fi channel last year.
Not a fan of anything to do with Dawn; that whole story line seemed forced and totally unnecessary but overall I still adore it. Seasons 2 and 3 in particular. The one with the children who got “murdered” and Joyce set up MOO was a favourite, as was the one with the blue demon that Buffy used the rocket launcher on.
Cracking soundtrack. I had the cd in the car for about 5 years!!!

Another huge fan here - enjoyed it until Spike came on - LOVED it after that. Was never keen on Angel (character or series) but love Buffy and re-watch it at least annually.
Am starting another watch through now it's on Amazon 😀

I had an 8 week recovery after my spinal op and needed comfort TV. Watched the entire series and all of Angel again

I never watched to Season 7. I tried a few times but I hit the episodes where the big bad is three geeks and I just slam my face into the desk repeatedly and have to stop watching.

Willow was my huge childhood crush in tandem with Jadzia Dax from DS9. I really had a thing for geeky girls waaaaay before it was cool...

Spike is just one of the most brilliantly written and scripted characters ever. Riley was a bit "eh" but at least they finally got to have sex, rather than another season of Buffy and Angel going "phwib phwib phwib we're so angsty it hurts"

Most annoying characters probably Dawn and Tara. Dawn has no tone of voice between panicked shrieking and irritating nasal whine, and Tara just seems to spend most of her time being wet and crying. Willow could have done so much better. Giles is definitely still my role model for teaching, sans the suits and accent - firm in the right places, professional in the right places, but also warm and caring in the right places too.

We are rewatching at the moment on Prime. Loving it once again.

DD(11) just gone done binge watching every episode of Charmed with me and she then suggested Buffy as our next binge series.

I almost self combusted with excitement! I immediately downloaded the 1992 film and got us started.

Oh such a long wait until we get to Once More With Feeling!

And of course I'll have to start the Angel boxsets and play them in between the corresponding Buffy episodes!!!

I am a little worried about breaking my DD's heart though.

Tara's getting shot then Willow/Xander and the yellow crayon, Anya's unnecessary jilting (seriously wtf Xander?!) Spike breaking down seeing Buffy's body after defeating Glory, Spike and the amulet saving everyone, Anya's in the high school, Joyce on the sofa and of course, in Angel, Doyle becoming a hero, Angel becoming human for a day and then what happens to Fred and Cordy.

Why the hell am I going to put myself through all that again?

I love Buffy it's one of my faves Along with charmed and Sabrina the teenage witch etc.

Was it "Becoming", the two part episode where Buffy had to kill Angel or something? I found that so emotional at the time

Ahh haven't watched for ages, wife won't watch with me :( Faith was my favourite though.

Our 3 cats are Buffy, Willow & Dawn - but nobody has ever seen Dawn.

I adore btvs and angel . I watch them the whole way through once a year 😆

One thing that always plays on my mind though - why is Giles not at the wedding ?

I love faith Amy harmony and Drusilla.

All have a lot of character development but get overlooked

Season 7 still annoys me. Think it's the alwful accents.

I'm re-watching on Prime (it's looking good!). I re-watch a lot but sometimes I don't make it all the way through or I'll just watch random seasons or episodes.

Anyway, I'd normally skip S1 but I'm actually really enjoying it this time around! Anyone notice how the fashion is pretty much back in again now? Lol

I did not know that it is on Prime! wanders off to watch it
