(I don't usually worry about spoilers , but sometimes we get people getting sniffy over the Final thread). Grin)
So- you've been warned. Grin

Here's hoping the Winner's single won't be something from the Greatest Showman- which this entire series has been a big advert for. GrinWe do usually know what the Winner's song is by now though.

In a bit of a twist, it would appear Simon doesn't think the acts can carry a Winner's single by themselves, so this is who they have been teamed up with
Dalton- performing with James Arthur, Scarlett is with Leona Lewis, and Anthony is with Ricky Wilson (minus his Kaiser Chiefs).
They will all get to perform their song, which doesn't usually happen, usually only 2 go through to Sunday.

The traditional Duets are still happening-

Scarlett has the dubious honour of singing 'Angels' with Knobbie
Dalton has been paired up with Emili Sande for the crime against grammar that is 'Beneath your beautiful', and Anthony is performing 'Leave the Light on ' with Tom Walker- and is not, surprisingly, singing with his bestie Louis.

It is December 1st, I will have mulled wine and mince pies.

See y'all later!

Wine

Yes agree Raahh. I can't stand TinyTim. This girl could do with a break BUT she is no better than a cruise ship singer or a very good pub singer, sorry but I don't think she is

The80sweregreat · 01/12/2018 20:16

Shd does seem very grounded.

TheFairyCaravan · 01/12/2018 20:18

I do like her. She seems a very down to earth young woman. I hope she does well.

lazymare · 01/12/2018 20:18

Though there's the Directioners voting for Anthony to contend with

Nope they mostly don't like him.

OutragedERIC · 01/12/2018 20:18

Oh Knobbie, you cheap shite Grin

Raahh · 01/12/2018 20:18

Roussette I do agree. I just don't want her to be dumped in favour of TTT. They want her to be Adele. Or whoever. But she's not. She sounded better doing the more uptempo Abba song.

OP posts:
NoisyBrain · 01/12/2018 20:18

Something TTT doesn't seem to have grasped - the concept of vocal control, rise and fall, loud and quiet. The two performances after him have showed up the utter embarrassment of that tuneless twerp getting through.

OutragedERIC · 01/12/2018 20:19

Nice dig at Fleur there Simon.

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 01/12/2018 20:19

Hey all, late to the party as was watching Strictly (dd would no way miss musical week!) I just really really hope TTT doesn't win

The80sweregreat · 01/12/2018 20:20

Si has a nerve having a dig at Fleur!

dillite · 01/12/2018 20:21

Why is Simon taking a dump on Fleur? Did she turn him down?

LucyMorningStar · 01/12/2018 20:21

It would have been great to have Gio or Shan in this final instead of Tiny Wanker.

Scarlett and Dalton are pleasant enough to listen to but somehow it feels like whichever one of them wins will do a disappearing act like so many others

Roussette · 01/12/2018 20:21

Oh yes! Fleur in the jungle. Pathetic. It didn't work, get yer head round it Si.

The80sweregreat · 01/12/2018 20:23

Gio would have been awesome!

Raahh · 01/12/2018 20:23

Fleur might e happy in the jungle. (Don't watch, creepy crawlies).

I do like that Simon has always stuck with the same charity.

OP posts:
Roussette · 01/12/2018 20:23

Totally agree Raahh, if TinyT wins I'm revolting! the way I look at the moment, that is not hard to imagine

The80sweregreat · 01/12/2018 20:24

Si does give to lots of charities I think.
Love the plug ad!

Raahh · 01/12/2018 20:25

I really warmed to Gio- at first he was a 'novelty' contender. But he was more than that. A 'rock' voice would have been a nice change from all the melisma warblyness, really. And pub singer shit.

He will have the last laugh, as he's already a seasoned West End performer, and this will have done him no harm.

Raahh · 01/12/2018 20:27

The Sainsbury's /plug ad is once of my favourite things this year. I just love the dangly legs.

OP posts:
dillite · 01/12/2018 20:27

That plug ad is the best!

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 01/12/2018 20:28

Oh yay Showman...least its a different song

NoisyBrain · 01/12/2018 20:28

Here's a rarity, a solo singer X Factor winner who has actually done OK.

dillite · 01/12/2018 20:28

Not bloody showman again!

Raahh · 01/12/2018 20:28

Oh ffs.

I like James Arthur. He's my favourite winner. I do not like Anne Marie.

I noticed that there was a Greatest Showman 'Re-imagined' album out. Pink is quite high in the charts .

OP posts:
ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 01/12/2018 20:29

These charity ads make me start blubbing! Bit low of Sli-mon to have a dig at Fleur, she seems to be doing well in the jungle. What's his problem??

Here's hoping Knobbie doesn't come back next year.
