bakedpotato - just this second got back from the post office, they found it eventually - it looks ace on him! Thanks so much. Funnily enough I was just searching your threads to find you and say thanks and I saw your message to me.

Aitch - I'll get back to you on that. I'm off to find out more about my new love interest!

hockeypuck · 21/06/2007 15:11

Aitch!

He is only 5' 11" so he does get a teeny tiny black mark in my book for that one. But hey, I'll forgive him that!

Here is the imdb on him:-

MarsLady · 22/06/2007 02:05

Does that mean I download and watch? I just wanted a repeat so that I could watch and series link it!

arfishy · 22/06/2007 02:47

I saw her and Harrison Ford in passing at the launch of his last film.

She looked like she'd just been slapped in the face with a wet haddock whilst simultaneously chewing a wasp.

I was unimpressed and went on my way.

Rochwen · 22/06/2007 22:02

I really really tried. I watched both epis on channel 4 plus the stayed up for the next one on E4 but I just can't seem to get into it. It's boring, really boring.

LyraB · 23/06/2007 23:13

Just watched both episode on C4. It's a teensy bit slow isn't it? Reminds me very much of Thirtysomething, which is no surprise seeing as it's directed by Ken Olin (Michael, remember him?) and stars his wife Patricia Wettig (the mistress). There's another thirtysomethinger in it at some point too. Peter something.

ViciousSquirrelSpotter · 23/06/2007 23:24

I was reading my book in between

Which was oh so much better

emkana · 23/06/2007 23:25

Factoid: Matthew Rhys shared/shares a house with Ioan Gryfudd (sp?) - y'know Mr Hornblower - in north London. They are best mates... not quite sure how best mates they are though if you get my drift...?

meandmyflyingmachine · 02/07/2007 10:26

I thought Hornblower lived in a the US with a glamorous fiancee. He was in the back of the Sunday Times magazine sharing a day of his fabulous life

MrsFish · 11/07/2007 08:44

Does this get any better?

I watched the first one and have taped the others but haven't got round to watching anymore as the first one didn't really grab me...

LazyLine · 11/07/2007 11:46

It's still the same, I seem to be oddly fascinated with it.

I always say that you should never give up after a premiere as that's when they do all the character setting up and some things can get lost so it's best to give the second episode a go before throwing in the towel.

virgo · 18/07/2007 21:27

anyone going to watch tonights....I think that the brother/uncle or whatever he is - stole the money...any ideas anyone??
