ready for Heston...

OP posts:
Raahh · 16/11/2018 14:18

meet Jimmi took his money out of the partnership, to pay off his ex, and she left.

That's why Zaniel are the only 2 partners, and it's a bit stressful, because Daniel is a bit power happy.

They'll need another partner now or Zaniel will be power-crazy.

A new person perhaps?

I think Dr Ranj.

LIZS · 16/11/2018 14:23

What happened to Daniel's media career?

Raahh · 16/11/2018 14:24

Dr Ranj and his amazing dancing eyebrows would be great.

He could specialise in paediatric. Puppet ones. ( I might have watched the constipation episode on CBeebies a few times). BlushGrin

Sorry but I can't see how Heston had planned his own funeral and also said he wanted to donate his body to science. That's contradictory.
My dear dad bought and planned his funeral in the 1990s. He died last year. He was chuffed at all the money saved ( we discussed everything as he neared his death)

toldmywrath · 16/11/2018 14:29

It certainly made things easier for us and he also appointed me to sort out his headstone. I was honoured that he chose me as his confidante.
I've already started planning what I want, not sure if I'll prepay though. (It makes sense to)

FuzzyCustard · 16/11/2018 14:30

I have never seen Dr Ranj except on Strictly, but love the idea of puppets. He cold conduct all consultations via the medium of A) puppetry or B) dance.

Heston might have donated his body to science (as a med student's dissection body) and then wanted his remains to be buried as per instructions. Although the suit and bow tie wouldn't fit with that theory. It could explain why he'd prefer a jolly party, as there would have been much longer period of time between his death and interment.

toldmywrath · 16/11/2018 14:30

Thank you for the new thread Raahh. I would have included "One foot in the grave" somewhereGrin

FuzzyCustard · 16/11/2018 14:33

I spoke to my dad about his funeral shortly before he died and was so glad I had. No one else in the family wanted to have that conversation, but it made everything so much easier when the time came.

About 9 months later the local University arranged a Memorial event for my dad (he was quite well known in his field) and we (the family) were not consulted at all, just invited! My mother was really upset and angry.

Tread carefully around funeral wishes.

toldmywrath · 16/11/2018 14:35

Fuzzy, Ruhma had a bloody cheek lobbing that dig at Alia (about not following Heston's wishes)
Has Ruhma conveniently forgotten that she didn't follow Heston's main wish at all? ( medical science)

Yes the interment and funeral would be delayed and can sometimes be years (if donation of body) this is one reason why people don't donate.

toldmywrath · 16/11/2018 14:38

Fuzzy it was a great honour that my dad chose me to discuss this with. I'm the youngest of a large family, most of the others did not want to discuss with him. I just thought it was a good idea. I've talked to my mum about her wishes, too and she's asked me to help pre plan her funeral.

toldmywrath · 16/11/2018 14:40

Fuzzy that was very insensitive of them to not involve your dad's own family in the memorial service! Sad

FuzzyCustard · 16/11/2018 14:50

Well, I've told my family my wishes. "As cheap as you can get and spend any remaining money on something you actually want"!

FuzzyCustard · 16/11/2018 14:51

told it IS an honour, isn't it?

Redshoeblueshoe · 16/11/2018 17:04

Only just catching up.
Ruhma being vile to Alia,
I think Alia should move out and Ruhma and Shak should move very far away.

Redshoeblueshoe · 16/11/2018 17:05

Thanks for the new thread Raahh

blamethecat · 16/11/2018 17:06

I guess as Heston had seen so many px die unexpectedly he knew to plan ahead ?
I hated my Dad's funeral, as the Vicar talked about him as if he knew him, My dad never went to church, Mum did (and still does) it all felt so false. Mum like to remind us often she has hers all planned and where we can find the info, she hasn't paid for it though so it better not be grand

LIZS · 16/11/2018 17:10

He must have written it since the wedding, so in last year (or however long that is in
Doctors world) . Were the details of the specific suit etc not also in the Will?

clowdyweewee · 16/11/2018 17:54

Just checking in. I'll watch later, before Corrie. I'm hoping that Rhuma gives Heston a Bollywood send off, to match his Bollywood proposal.

JustDanceAddict · 16/11/2018 18:48

More Drs? What about Dr Xand and Dr Chris?!?

FuzzyCustard · 16/11/2018 18:51

Good call Just

MadisonAvenue · 16/11/2018 18:56

Ooh a new thread! Checking in, will be back later when I've watched today's instalment.

Ladymargarethall · 16/11/2018 19:32

If Heston wanted his body donated to medical science why has he chosen a suit to be buried in?Confused

blamethecat · 16/11/2018 20:53

There is a post on Twitter showing them out celebrating gobby (well the actress) being in doctors for 10 years. Rhuma is in the photo , I'm hoping she just came for the night out Grin, MrsT, zaniel , eesh and a new person who used to be in Hollyoaks are there too.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/11/2018 21:53

Rhuma has zero redeeming characteristics. Even her voice is intensely irritating.
