The daily fail says John Barrowman is confirmed! Now that is good news. Him and Harry Redknapp together has got to be worth watching. Not sure about the soap stars - I don't know who they are. And is Cheryl a definite?

Biggest downside to this year is the awful Holly Willoughby presenting. On the plus side I'll get through the episodes quite quickly hitting the fast forward button every time she appears

I hate this show so much. I'm sure everyone is quite capable of making a twat of themselves without resorting to eating/treading on/terrifying living creatures for 'entertainment.' It's fucking disgusting.

I like the show, but agree with penisbeakers' comments re the eating/terrifying live creatures - it is unnecessary and cruel.

That said, you could argue that maybe the meat industry involves a lot more needless cruelty, but even so, I think that eating something while it's still alive is barbaric (unless it's done by a wild creature, we can't impose any sort of human values/morality onto a lion for instance).

I like John Barrowman but have the feeling we might see a less likeable side to him when the going gets tough, because I doubt that he'll cope too well with being deprived of his creature comforts. Mind you, the same could be said of most people, which is what makes the show so watchable.

Can't abide HW. Missing Ant already - the banter between Ant and Dec has always been so enjoyable in previous years.

I don't care what folks do to one another on these shows

but I do care about shit like this.

(I'm veggiesaurus too so I don't eat meat).

Most of the creatures they use are undesirable which means folks don't really give a shit. It's still horrific and we need to do this stuff without harming living things, outside of the contestants. I don't know if Noel Edmonds is actually human anymore.

The main draw are ant and dec so its not going to be so rewarding a watch. but i expect i will give it a go

I saw a photo of Harry Redknapp in the press, and thought he was a burns victim. It looked like his face had melted Shock I haven't watched since Katie Price & Peter Andre were in, but might watch cos of John Barrowman Star

Wonder how long Noel will last in there? I can’t stand him or Nasty Knowles. Looking forward to seeing Ann from the chase on there, hope she puts them in their place.

For entertainment value I'm looking forward to seeing how Nick K, Harry R, John B and Noel E will cope with the jungle. I have a feeling these will feature in the final.
I don't know the soap slebs. Am I right in thinking an unofficial ban on reality slebs was implemented after the last couple of winners came from shows like TOWIE?

Im hoping the Megan Mckenna late arrival is not true, i dont watch towie but she has been in loads of other reality things ive seen and cant warm to her, i was looking forward to a reality show free year

I think it is a huge mistake for ANNE HEGERTY to go into the jungle,

She has AUTISM/ASPERGERS

She lives on her own, and says that she just likes to have time alone in her house with her books, her computer, with peace and quiet.

She doesn't like people constantly talking and she can't cope when she is tired and hasn't slept well. It will make her get very frustrated/angry.

She says things that to her are true, (black and white or right and wrong) like on the trans debate that they were a boy/girl as a child before they changed

She might be edited really badly depending on how the producers want to show her

I think her agent has done a really bad job in arranging for her to go in. Obviously she will have seen it before (not like she wouldn't know what was going to happen) but I just feel that however much money she is being paid won't be worth it for the way she will feel for the 2 weeks or however long it is. I know she is a grown woman who isn't stupid not a child.

I am not going to be watching this year cos don't want to see her get upset and HW will be very annoying
