well, first you have to get over the fact that anyone approaching him isn't going to suddenly burst into 'and tonight Matthew, I'm going to be....' but once you get past that, he's actually very good and VERY creepy as the serial killer.

My problem with Cold Blood is that they do treat the audience as dunces. Everything is telegraphed, they re-run scenes to emphasise points (needlessly) and Jemma Redgrave's character is too depressing (relentlessly so).

It's watchable, funnily enough I think Matthew Kelly is the best thing in it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it and I do find myself shouting 'yes, we bloody well know that' and 'yes, of course you eejit' a few times iyswim.
