Any opinions? I can't help feeling slightly uneasy about the whole set up but wonder if it's purposely edited that way..

Good grief. Who on earth would entrust their child to such a shower of smug incompetent fools?

I feel uneasy about it, the tag game for some reason made me feel uncomfortable, not the game itself but the way the "master" was acting. Those poor rabbits.

definitely edited but the guy is a nutter. He went to school with my brother and his sister was head girl at my school. I don't know him personally but know of him and his reputation.

I am a practising Catholic and I think he's a nutter so God knows what everyone must think

DumbledoresGirl · 18/06/2007 21:44

I watched a bit. All I could think was, if anything is going to turn these boys off catholicism, this will do it.

I think Ferdie is utterly vile. Very surprised he is described as likeable in the Guardian Guide. I find him most hard to like. The rabbit slaughter was barbaric. Butchery is an art, you blundering prat. You don't just all lunge at a terrified animal and bludgeon it to death in the name of 'education'.

MascaraOHara · 18/06/2007 21:50

And the monk, who lived as a hermit in his parents shed?

The curriculum is designed by Ferdie.

I ddin't like the way the Head wouldn't give the lad an aswer as to why headphones were banned.

Although I did always think Morris Dancing was a pagen activity, I didn't realise it was catholic (I am an uneducated monkey though)

The rabbit thing was awful.. and some of the boys being invited to dinner.. all very odd.

I am watching it too - isn't the boy with the glasses and big teeth sooo cute!!

As for Ferdie - never married, lives with his mother, runs a school for boys, and plays a game with them called Catch My Tail?

Hmmmm, the mind boggles somewhat...

hippipotami · 18/06/2007 21:51

The rabbit thing was just so wrong

Tommy · 18/06/2007 21:57

Absolutely DDG!
Also agree with hippi on the "catch the tail" thing

Alphonso · 18/06/2007 21:59

I'm honestly utterly and absolutely stunned that any parent in the world ever would think it was a good idea to send their son to his school.
