Pontypines went for a walk and bumped in to their neighbours the Wattingers - then they waved to them. I'm so relieved after all this time!!!! DS very excited!

I was sadly excited too

Kept wondering why they had bothered to name them if you never saw them.

Had a very confusing conversation with ds though trying to explain pontypines were red and wottingers were blue.

I was excited too and nearly started a similar thread. (Note to self, need to get a life)

sfxmum · 18/06/2007 20:58

yes but very disturbing as they yet again lost their kids and then the bell rang and they had to get home leaving the children behind
that will teach them!

TheArmadillo · 18/06/2007 21:00

I was too!

I couldn't believe they abandoned them!

(Also can't believe how much I need to get a RL )

MuminBrum · 18/06/2007 21:02

I was a bit worried that there was going to be a Pontypine-Wattinger rumble.

adamadamum · 18/06/2007 21:26

Oh but what a lovely way to get your kids in a bedtime mood! Just wish it was on 30 minutes or so earlier, it's so lovely, but on a bit too late for us as our bedtime routine is rather complicated and takes ages. Not sure about my DS pretending to be UpsyDaisy though, putting on one of my DD's dresses.....

I saw them too and was sooo thrilled I texted DP, who is abroad for work, and he texted back telling me to record it! But as soon as I hit record the Wottingers mysteriously disappeared... gah! I'm worried he'll think I made it up now.

snowleopard · 18/06/2007 23:23

(My DS cared not - he only likes the Tomblyboos - "Tomblyboos washing!")

SueBaroo · 18/06/2007 23:32

imagines West Side Story music over the top of the meeting of the wottingers and the pontypines

Wottingers · 18/06/2007 23:49

Oh thank goodness, we thought we'd never be seen

Wottingers · 18/06/2007 23:49

(Those pontypines were putting on airs, you know)

Marina · 18/06/2007 23:51

We had a family stampede through from the dining room (well, except a rather baffled dh) to meet the Wottingers
Am I the only one concerned that the Pontipines were trapped in the tombliboos' pants
