I'm a little shocked that Danny is at the bottom of the leaderboard. As others have said I think he would go through if he was in the dance off as he can correct his mistake, whereas others did their best dance and can't improve any further. I think that either Kate or Ranj should go.

The scoring was very odd this evening. I though Joe made a good effort and he had some lovely shaping but it really wasn't worth that score.

is anyone else left totally cold by the simpering Ashley?

Yes, me. Her dancing seems technically good but seriously lacking in feeling - even when she is trying to appear emotional it comes over as a fairly clinical piece of attempted acting. I wish the judges would look at that sort of thing more.

In other news, someone really needs to ask Craig how he can possibly believe that Charles has achieved at exactly the same level with no improvement virtually every bloody week.

Has Stacey had any dance training? I love her, Faye and Ashley but they’ve had some kind of training and if Stacey hasn’t I want her to win. Not feeling any male contestants this series.

Joe's overmarking is really starting to piss me off yes his dances are good and it is impressive considering his lack of dance/performance background but there is no way that dance was worth 9's. 7's at best!! And Laurens jive seemed laboured and repetitive yet gets 8's

I find myself being more and more drawn to Stacey...I have tried to resist as I am not a Kevin fan and loud, in your face people irritate me but she is a really good dancer and reminds me of Abbey Clancy. I think I might want her to win

He said that there was a difference between entertainer and sleb, considers himself the former. Scoffed at Strictly Curse. Admitted he did all things necessary to contract eg it takes two but did not socialise with others outside of show (which led some on digital spy to wonder whether Graeme was referring to him in a recent interview re how they all get along as he mentioned one couple didn't)

To me, the article had so obviously twisted what he said. The way it presented was was clearly a joke about the Stricty Curse shows that.

And it was in The Sun, well known bastion of honest, factual reporting.

I had friends over last night and we watched together. We thought the marking was all over the place. Joe was well over marked and others under marked.

The results show should be interesting.

I wouldn’t rake much notice if anything written in The Sun. The comment about Stricrly curse was clearly tongue in cheek. As another poster said, with all the training he does during the day, he will have little time to socialise and he has a family.

I weirdly didn't have a favourite dance last night, and I usually have a couple. I think I was a bit meh about them all 🤔 I guess I quite liked the waltz's

I was a bit meh about the dances last night as well. I did enjoy Stacey though. I'd like to see her win over all as I've always admired her anyway. I wish Ashley Roberts would just f&@k off tbh! Obviously she'll do well given her background. Same for Faye although she seems like a lovely person.

I like DJJ and his interview has clearly been taken out of context. I am guessing that it really threw him and affected his performance which if correct, shows how toxic the British press are.

Re. The Sun article - it's very likely they've twisted things, but they've included direct quotes which they CAN'T make up. If they are made up, DJJ could sue them and they'd be in trouble for all sorts of things, including accuracy. I would think the Strictly curse comment was probably said with a laugh as a joke, but on paper it may not come across like that.

It's very easy to twist direct quotes by taking them out of context or clipping them short.

I don’t know who Danny is. Have never heard of him or seen him in my life. My first impression and that impression still stands weeks on is he is a total lovie who takes himself ridiculously seriously

It doesn't come across as a joke because the "journalist" has then deliberately gone on to make all kinds of suggestions about his wife being angry/worried/shouldn't read the rest of the "report".

I loved Stacey's dance and want them to win quite like KFG too

Ashley is fine, it's the whole "woe is me this is so tough I don't know if I can" etc from a PROFESSIONAL dancer. The documentary posted on the previous thread sealed it for me.

I think we all Iove stacey because this is new to her and she dances joyfully and with abandon. People who have danced before dance competently and expertly but without the joy of discovery that those who haven’t danced before have.

Just a few of my thoughts...

What has happened to Shane from Boyzone???? has he had work? (I used to think he was HOT)
I had no problem with Ashley being a ringer and although not seen her do anything other than dance in the Pussycat Dolls,I liked her..However she does seem so fake and quite vacuous.

I had high hopes for Kate after her first few weeks but she seems to take the criticism very very badly

So maybe it’s her time to go.

Would be DELIGHTED if dr ranj leaves. Graham easily in the dance off with that dullsville waltz
