There’s two issues here as I see it. One is Als driving, the other the treatment. Firstly, there would be no point in Persuing al for charges, he did nothing illegal and no one wld prosecute him for something that cld not be proved. It is robs problem. The second issue, clearly al did the right thing as Mrs Tembe was near death without immediate intervention. Heston said he was ok and guided al through the procedure. As a medical professional I find it hard (knowing many drs) that al doubts himself and cannot articulate his reasons for his actions. It seems very obvious that he took the correct course of action. Obvs for the storyline........

tadpole I suppose Al is frustrated, because he can't prove to anyone , that to him, at first, Heston was the one who seemed ok, and Mrs T was unconscious. So, who would you go to first? As a lay- person, I would instantly think, the unconscious one. Which is what he did.

Will they not interview Mrs T ?

The fallout is getting a bit tedious already and Gobbyplod and ruhma are still in it too much I find.

In theory they could prove it was Al's driving - if he was going too fast for conditions (maybe was) by marks on the road and damage. They're pretty good nowadays at judging.

The medical stuff he would likely have to give a statement for the coroner but that would be it, unless the GMC took action. But there are guidelines on best intention intervention to stop people not doing first aid in case they're sued. I can understand him questioning himself though.

I missed today as our 'gobby' needed to go on late lunch so I had to work , I am sure you are told to see to the quiet person at an accident as if you can talk/shout you are in a better state ? unless they are quiet because they are dead , I'm sure Al will be fine after all how will see the many patients if two doctors go ?

Surely the fact that it was Heston who made the 999 call is in Al's favour, although why they stopped the call while the situation was ongoing seems questionable.
