House ... the science is rubbish, right?

I've just started watching House (seen the first two eps), and I'm finding myself slightly annoyed by the science, or lack thereof. Is 'cleft chin' really a single dominant gene? (I've looked it up - it's not! Thank goodness, because neither I nor DH has one, but DS2 does!) Are babies protected by maternal antibodies for the first six months even without breastfeeding? (no, right?)

I don't generally watch doctor shows, but have been won around to Scrubs ... but the science on there is (afaik) good. Will I have to give up on House thanks to crappy science?

24 sucks ass. Honestly.

I'm watching ep 4, and happy to see that a) they let someone die, and b) they had victims who weren't sexy. Which is nice.

Everyone will be attractive, though, won't they ... American telly.

Even though it is so formulaic (which usually irritates the hell out of me).

Love the fact that the patient always seems to be getting better until 20 minutes in adn then has a fit/collapses similar.

Do you know Cameron and Chase are getting married in RL?

24 is fantastic I have seen every episode and hyperventilated during a few. Can't believe anyone would not like it. I even have the ringtone on my phone. I do think it might be a bit of a boys programme though as the men in work are obsessed by it - i think they all want to be jack bauer!
