I had to stumble across it by accident on IPlayer

It's very good, btw

It is a work of gentle genius.

So glad that Ker has finally seen the light regarding her father, although I suspect that she may still believe that he wrote Wonderwall on the back of a beer mat in the space of ten minutes.

I found this by accident earlier tonight too! Really enjoyed it - Ker’s games with her little brothers was funny.

The vicar is destined for sainthood.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 21/10/2018 21:39

I think i love the show because it reminds me of this programme

Its the really painful silences and lingering shots

MadisonAvenue · 21/10/2018 21:48

I'm just glad that my kids are now grown up and don't need me to read them stories about a cat in a very much too large of a hat and a fish thinking what the fuck?

JohnnyKarate · 21/10/2018 21:50

The drawing of them in court had me in stitches. It is so brilliant can’t wait for series 3!

AnyFucker · 21/10/2018 21:52

Could one of you guys actually give a heads up when/if there is a series 3 ?

Cheers

OP posts:
JohnnyKarate · 21/10/2018 21:54

It’s confirmed for 2019 so when it starts I will shout, if I remember!

MadisonAvenue · 21/10/2018 23:15

Yeah, filming starts next year for series 3.
Daisy's also in the forthcoming David Copperfield movie and Charlie's going to be in an ITV six-part drama with Imelda Staunton and Martin Freeman.

AnyFucker · 21/10/2018 23:19

Good. They deserve some success. Brilliant comic/pathos timing.

Bloody love this show. Kerry's a brilliant character. My favourite moment though is kurtan trying to empty the wheelbarrow into the skip. Almost pissed myself laughing.

BillieEyeIash · 02/01/2020 22:26

@AnyFucker here's your heads up... Series 3 starting in February 😁

AnyFucker · 02/01/2020 22:48

Whooo hooooo. Thanks @BillieEyelash Xmas Grin

Err, what date ?

OP posts:
NumbersStation · 03/01/2020 17:47

Get in.

I love this!

I was stationed in a similar area back in the day. It brings back happy memories - and some disconcerting ones. I lived amongst many Kerries and Kurtans. Smile

I had to move back to the frozen north but found a Scottish Mandy.

Right down to the tattoo machine. I don’t know her well enough to be invited to see her tattoo portfolio/sketchbook thankfully. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen examples of her work when it has been taps aff weather. Grin
