Real Housewives...which ones are best?

I’ve recently taken out a Hayu subscription (using my maternity leave wisely!) and have loads of seasons of the Real Housewives to choose from. The only thing is, which one to choose?!

The only one I’ve ever watched before is Orange County and ive seen all the seasons of that, and i love it. trashy tv at its best 😂 There’s so many different ones and some of them have so many seasons i want to make sure it’s a good one before I go for it!

I can see New York, Dallas, Potomac, Beverley Hills, New Jersey and Atlanta.

I have the Hayu app on my Now TV. Haven’t used it yet but I can get a 14 day free trial followed by a rolling subscription of £3.99 per month.

The ones with fab outfits, big personalities, free for all booze fueled bust ups (& wickedly funny/catty pieces to camera) are:New York, Beverly Hills & Atlanta.

New Jersey ones got very boring since Teresa went to prison for mortgage fraud. Dallas one is incredibly boring, all lacking personality as is Potomac. Cheshire is pale, cringy UK imitation.

I only watch BH. The UK one is utter shite

Beverley Hills and OC are the best and definitely try Vanderpump Rules if you like some trashy TV.

Beverley Hills and I actually found Melbourne entertaining!Ladies of London is quite amusing.

If you want to see true trash then check out the original VH1 reality shows like Flava of Love or Charm School

Loving the new series of BH so far

Seasons 1- 3 of the Dallas housewives are on HayU and it’s brilliant so I would deffo recommend it, and also Potomac, these are the only 2 I’m interested in now, all the others have ran their course. I think 6 seasons is enough for the housewives because after that, then it’s the same old stories, divorce, weddings, empty nest syndrome, falling out with friends, new friendships, financial problems, moving house, etc, etc, with different characters, I get bored from season 6 and I love the 1st season of getting to know the women.

Don’t be tardy, with Kim of ATL housewives is pretty compulsive viewing too, and Second Wives Club which is a poor mans RHW show but still great.

Just binge watched The Sydney housewives and boy was it entertaining! Melbourne is also pretty funny, and infact I think the Aussies win hands down when it comes to drama, I thought us Brits were quite entertaining with our forwardness and the yanks provided the kooky ones, but the Aussies bring both to the table, and omg how beautiful does Sydney look?!

Watching the Aussie ones have shown me that the American ones have went way past their sell by date to be honest, we need more cities in Aus being HW. Aussies are such straight shooters unlike the yanks who are fake AF for the camera, not the Sydney HW

Auckland is pretty good too but there’s no reunion show which is weird, it only ran for 1 season and had 10 episodes

OJ and NY

Watch Sydney HW ladies and if I’m wrong in saying that it’s well entertaining and bloody funny (hardly any of them are funny let’s face it) then I’ll...I’ll...ahh fuck knows but I’ll just be very surprised is all! Sometimes you find unknown hidden gems amongst the well known ones.

Plus Sydney is on ITVBe atm too but if you wanna binge watch then Hayu is the place to do so.

Ooh the real housewives of Vancouver is good too

I hated the Vancouver housewives and they were all so odd looking imo
