Just catching up on last week, I was glad Susannah went she was really irritating me I felt she wasn't trying at all.

My favourite dances were Danny John-Jules & Amy, Kate & Alijaz, Faye and Giovanni and Ashley and Pascha. I'd forgotten just what a good dancer Pascha is, glad he seems to have someone capable this time.

I quite like Joe (the YouTuber) and Lauren Steadman. I like Katie Piper too but she is really struggling with the dancing which is such a shame. I was a bit disappointed with Stacey and Vicky, hopefully they will improve.

Dr Ranj is getting on my nerves and I don't know why.

I'm ambivalent about the rest.

MrsJayy · 06/10/2018 17:02

Oh I say Tom really is channeling his inner Rhania isn't he

GrouchyKiwi · 06/10/2018 17:10

Raymond de Guise and Nancy Nettleton. Grin

I've decided to rearrange dinner and bath time so the children can watch SCD with me. DH is scuppering my plans by taking them all out to play (and to show off the puppy, since she's allowed to leave the house now).

MozzieMagnet · 06/10/2018 17:13

ooh grouchy PUPPY?!!!! have you posted a pic so I can coo?

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 06/10/2018 17:18

I don't know whether I'm tempted to download the sample of Anton's novel or not. It had a dreadful effect on Myimaginarycathasfleas but I think I am made of sterner stuff. Perhaps I might just wait at bit, for a happy and relaxed day when there's nothing important happening like Strictly, or the school run, or dawn and sunset. Grin

I reckon Lee and Seann for the dance off tonight tomorrow. Lee will pull the pouty face of a toddler who doesn't want to leave a birthday party, possibly with tears. Seann will go home.

I was a bit sneery about Seann having two 'n's, but have decided to forgive him after having a short think about how both Sean and Walsh are very common names, so there must be tens of thousands of them.

MrsJayy · 06/10/2018 17:18

PUPPY? I like puppies

GrouchyKiwi · 06/10/2018 17:27

Here she is sitting sedately in the garden and lying down exhausted after a busy day making friends. She's going to watch Strictly tonight so I'll let you know which people she loves and who she barks at.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 06/10/2018 17:39

I assume you mean an entire ship load fleas?

That’s not an unreasonable assumption @Schaden. It might take that much to expunge the image of Raymond and Nancy at work.

Although now we have Grouchy’s puppy to sigh over I feel ever so much more myself.

Bring on the sequins...

FuzzyCustard · 06/10/2018 18:03

OH THAT PUPPY!!!!!
That is cuter than a cute thing from Cutesville

FuzzyCustard · 06/10/2018 18:08

While we are waiting we could do our own "novel" synopsis...

On a popular parenting forum, a group of misunderstood women are waiting to see the object of their desire on the telly. Accompanied by the most adorable puppy ever, they wait behind the curtains with bated breath, every inspiration a heartbeat closer to seeing the gorgeous Italian stud who is the highlight of their week. But little do they know, a traitor lurks within their number. A strange, nay, odd person whose opinion differs from the group. Who can it be? Who do they prefer? Who cares?"

TheSassyAssassin · 06/10/2018 18:20

Oh my god oh my oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god ohhhhhhhhmyyyyyygodddddd P-U-P-P-Y!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So cute! Grouchy please feel welcome to post frequent update pics!!!! Grin

MozzieMagnet · 06/10/2018 18:21

Squeeeeee! awesome puppy.

Treacherous Marian DeKeyes has adored Pasha from afar but is she happy to commit murder on the dancefloor to see him win his second Glitterball. Watch out Faye, your days might be numbered as the Italian Stallion gets Tonyaed. And what of Rachel DuComptedown - will her jealousy no no bounds? Will the ringers be put through the wringer?
Or will Mozzie Demille do a Nomy Malone to save Seann from the villainy of Shirley and the bottom of the leaderboard?
Let's dance.

Wink Yours sounded like a novel fuzzy mine sounds like a recap of Soap.
GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 06/10/2018 18:29

I love the Strictly novel, keep it coming!

What breed is the puppy? Cuteness indeed!

I'm anticipating Katie/Vick in the dance off but difficult to predict!! Probably Lee again Grin

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 06/10/2018 18:29

Here we go! Glitterball

Elderflower14 · 06/10/2018 18:30

Evening all. I'm on a sleepover at work tonight so no drinking.

Is the minion jive/costuming going to be a triumph or catastrophe?!

Wolfcub · 06/10/2018 18:31

Evening all

SoupDragon · 06/10/2018 18:31

It might work. The Trolls one worked last year.

Wolfcub · 06/10/2018 18:33

The Harry Potter dance is a bit dull

FuzzyCustard · 06/10/2018 18:33

Some of the pros are not getting away with dressing up as schoolkids. not AJ obviously

GrouchyKiwi · 06/10/2018 18:33

Thank you for all of the puppy compliments. She's a Newfoundland and a very big puppy indeed.

Ah look, it's Kevin Potter. I'm unhappy about the people they've decided are Ravenclaws.

SerenDippitty · 06/10/2018 18:33

Anton has, it appears, written a novel. Saw it in Morrisons today.....

covetingthepreciousthings · 06/10/2018 18:34

I'm not so sure about this Harry Potter group dance. Feels a bit cringey..

I think they'd have been better off without the gimmicks and just doing a really good dance with nice costumes.

ApolloandDaphne · 06/10/2018 18:34

I love Harry Potter but this is a bit weird.

FuzzyCustard · 06/10/2018 18:34

Nope, didn't like that.
