Would you take in your husbands baby that he had with a kid though? She had him at 14, possibly pregnant at 13. She's now 46. Barry is around 70. Even if you say 66 he's have been in his 30's. I know Holby doesn't are for reality but I think it would take the story in a really dark direction

Hmmm, good point. Just dodgy script writing then, that a young mum would hand over a baby for adoption to the be parents - that's more likely

I think we are wasting our time here and Holby will just ignore constructing a believable back story to this. Even Holby cant possibly have Dom's father being connected to Holby as well. I mean, the Ange as his mother line is bad enough but lets see......

I kept waiting for Dom to blurt out 'I am your brother' when he was talking to Chloe.
Anyone got any theories as to why Ange doesn't want Chloe to know?

I think Ange just wants to tell Chloe herself, on her own terms, and not at work. But who knows? Maybe they're twins - do we know how old Chloe is? Didn't she say something about being brought up by her grandmother for a while?

That's a shame - imagine the angst the scriptwriters could have wrung out of Dom discovering that Ange had kept one twin and not the other!

Just caught up!!

I mentioned the twin theory a few pages back and I’m actually disappointed that it’s not the case - it’s would have made for a great storyline!

I don’t know why Ange is so adamant about Chloe not knowing, I actually think Chloe would be over the moon about it.

Maybe Chloe’s dad is the same dad as Dom’s dad? Whose to say that Ange didn’t stay with her teenage boyfriend? Maybe they did and they ended up married? Maybe it was her boyfriend who forced her into putting Dom up for adoption and Ange now doesn’t want him to find out that his son is back on the scene? Coming up with plot lines is so much fun Grin

Saying all this though - is there ever any mention of Ange’s Ex or Chloe’s dad?? Grin

Does Mia ever go to school as opposed to hanging around the AAU?!

And I didn’t realise until last night that she isn’t even Donna’s biological daughter! Whose child is she then?!

Mia is Donna's niece, in true Holby style she is the daughter of a half sister that Donna didn't know existed until her dying father turned up. Somehow the mother and both grandparents died leaving Mia with Donna.

Wasn't Ange raped when she got pregnant with Chloe? Perhaps she doesn't want people to start asking questions because of that?

Queen - I thought that rather than Ange meaning she didn't want Chloe to know, she just didn't want the whole thing discussed at work! I was mentally willing them all to shut the fuck up and have a reasoned discussion when there weren't patients and other staff to require their attention.

I think she didn't want Chloe to know because she said she is not as robust as she appears, and would find it hard to cope with, then when Dom was talking to Chloe and about to tell her she said she had panic attacks when she was younger implying she has had some mental health issues. So Dom didn't say anything eithed

She was talking about something that happened, that happened to people, and you say you're fine but you're not.

Chloe’s dad? Chloe said that Ange said he wasn't a consideration or wasn't an option or something. She def doesn't know him

I'm a bit bored with it all already. It can only get worse when Lofty returns and they pile on the misery for Dom, yet again.

I can't remember where Lofty's supposed to be, but he's dodged a bullet not being around for this latest drama. There's no way that Dom would be confiding in him, so there would be the angst of him worrying what was wrong, Dom's irritation at being cross-questioned about what was wrong, yada, yada yada...
