New thread for us

What was with the Robin reference? I thought his name was Theo?

SleepingStandingUp · 21/03/2019 21:39

Apparently in the rare moments Fletch sees his kids, he talks about Ange and said she protects people like Batman does. He told her this is the garden so hence Robin. It was Anges way of saying I know you want me to be the new Jac

SleepingStandingUp · 21/03/2019 21:40

Kofi is such a shit Dad. Sorry. That's really intolerant of me. But he is.

SleepingStandingUp · 21/03/2019 21:46

Wow, but Fletch just got worse. Sorry live tweeting haha

MyOtherProfile · 21/03/2019 21:56

Who was it who took theo? I don't remember her at all.

TotalNoob · 21/03/2019 22:28

She was the agency nurse who Ric told to arrange tests for that lady who died and he ended up in prison because she didn’t do them. That’s appalling grammar but you get the gist.

SleepingStandingUp · 21/03/2019 22:58

I'm assuming Chloe is the product of Ange being raped when she was in medical school?

SleepingStandingUp · 21/03/2019 23:04

Was good to see Jac and Fletch back on screen together, I don't want him to get it on with Angeywingey

SoupDragon · 22/03/2019 08:34

The agency nurse has messed up more than once in Holby (actually, I think she messed up in Casualty first but they still had her back)

spiderlight · 22/03/2019 10:26

She started in Casualty as Max's replacement Zoe. Totally implausible to have her randomly abduct Theo though. The entire episode was ridiculous.

QueenofmyPrinces · 23/03/2019 06:10

I liked the first episode but not the second.

Still don’t really understand why Ameera took Theo though?? What had Fletch done to her? It all just seemed like stupid and lazy script writing and horrendous acting!!!

I actually quite like Ange!!! - but I’m not sure if it’s because I like her character or I like her accent Grin

I have always loved Zosia but for some reason I’m finding her character quite annoying this time round.

It was nice to have a few episodes where Cameron barely featured as I can’t stand him!!

I was also shocked by Kofi leaving Darla behind with Ric Sad My guess is she will end up having a termination.

Did Xav’s mom purposefully injure her hand the second time round to cause more damage? I got the impression that there hadn’t been a fracture when Donna first examined/bandaged the hand, so it wasn’t that she missed one, but that when Xav’s mum left the hospital she purposefully injured her hand again to cause more damage to make it look like Donna had missed something in the first place?

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 23/03/2019 06:27

I normally watch on iplayer but there's only one of last week's episodes available. Does anyone know where I can watch the second?

QueenofmyPrinces · 23/03/2019 07:42

I watched them both on iPlayer, one on Thursday night and the other last night.

Poppytime · 23/03/2019 07:51

Yes the second one has disappeared? I'm halfway through!

PretendLife · 23/03/2019 09:48

The whole episode was very disjointed. That abducting nurse popping up again, the batman and robin nonsense. I actually cringed when Fletch was flirting with Ange and then when he looked at her when Theo/Robin went to her instead of him....I am actually starting to dislike him since he started sniffing round Ange.

The MIL from hell definitely did injure her hand on purpose! poor Donna, she might as well get out now.

Optimist1 · 23/03/2019 11:32

OMG! Have just realised there were two episodes last week and as Poppytime pointed out, the second one isn't available on iPlayer. Angry Angry Angry

OP posts:
Poppytime · 23/03/2019 11:36

Yes they've taken it down as I was watching it yesterday - wonder why?! Confused

MyOtherProfile · 23/03/2019 12:31

Was the MIL and the injured hand ep the 1st or 2nd? I saw that but not the other.

Optimist1 · 23/03/2019 12:38

I saw the first (Tuesday) one and Xav's mother wasn't in that, so it must have been the second episode.

OP posts:
QueenofmyPrinces · 23/03/2019 16:00

I watched it on iPlayer at 9.30 last night. To those who haven’t seen it, you really aren’t missing much.

SleepingStandingUp · 23/03/2019 16:54

Yes MIL def doesn't think old single mother Donna is good enough for Xav, that's def gonna escalate

Jac was the first up on the roof with Fletch, if he's gonna be appreciative to any one it should be her. Grrrrr. Want Ange to dissappear.

spiderlight · 23/03/2019 18:50

The second episode seems to be back on iPlayer now.

Poppytime · 23/03/2019 19:13

It's back, I've caught up. Yep definitely going down the mum vs girlfriend with Donna. The rest with Amira was a bit ridiculous I thought. Evan was token wasn't he - although suspect he may be back ...

Poppytime · 23/03/2019 19:14

Oh yep and the look when Theo went to hug Ange

Optimist1 · 23/03/2019 20:31

Thanks for the info, @spiderlight - perfect timing as I was able to watch it just before Casualty started.

My memory of Amira was that Fletch was very empathetic to her when she wasn't performing her nurse duties very well, so her actions this week were totally odd. Agree with PP that they really need to put a big lock on the door to the roof!
