Pregnant shot woman went home to fix the leak from her flat. Ric had said I'm his first speech to "take it up with them" and when she came in she said "I did what you said, I took it up with them" so I think she gobbled off at someone and she got shot

They make them fairly frequently tbf, I like that about them. They try to stay vaguely relevent.

I liked the episode, agree the Petrenka thing was odd but I thought the Jac thing was really sweet

I enjoyed that episode but it must be a bit galling if you work in the real NHS for Holby and Casualry to do these occasional episodes and then go back to their usual nonsense, when in reality pretty much every day is like that!

What bothered me most about tonight's episode was that presumably Nicky doesn't have a passport since she said she'd never bee out of the country. She's going to have a job getting one in time for the trip to Naples this weekend, isn't she?

That Young Adult unit must be the best-staffed in the entire hospital - only one patient at a time, consultant can call on Dom and Essie as and when required, and also ship in her own daughter to assist.

We were struck by how unlikely it would be to find a busker singing away in the dark with no passing trade bar a few hospital staff members going off duty. We did also wonder if it was anyone famous actually doing the busking.

I'll just add, how old is Ric supposed to be? I've no idea who that woman is he was with but presume she has been in before as people seemed to know who she was? She just looked a lot younger than Ric in the ridiculous dancing scene at the end. I know Ric was a player in his hay day but not so sure now....

That brat of a teenager...as if the NHS has time for that nonsense.

I know Holby isn't real. I do. And I won't keep complaining about this, but the utter nonsense of a consultant trying to convince a political candidate that the NHS is under pressure drove me mad. Just keep it in the fantasy world.

Who was that women from the Council? I don’t remember her at all? She looks about 20+ years younger than Ric so I find the storyline a bit grim.

I don’t remember her at all and I was repulsed by his creepy fixing of her id badge thing to her blouse. Although I spotted later that she’d moved it to her waistband Grin I usually love any Ric scenes and to be fair it was nice to see him smiling for a change. Can’t forgive the accidental almost breast stroking though.

Yes, the ID badge thing was creepy. I think Ric is just a bit too old now for his much younger women shenanigans....starting to feel a bit 'wrong'.
Shame he can't get together with Serena, I suppose he could as she is apparently bi.

I think Serena is too sensible and motherly for Ric. She was perfect with that police firearms bloke until he showed himself to be a dick re Jason. Ric tends to go for more glamorous types. I love Serena though. Can’t stand her blouses mind.

What was the deja vu with Ange and dazzle's mum all about? Yes agree there is something more there. And they all seem very chummy considering Ange and Chloe have barely been working there!
