OH MY WORD. Dr Nikki is doing my head in. Stop crying woman. She needs to leave.

I quite like Nikki.

I like her too but she's a bit wet, she'll have o toughen up or she won't last working for Jac. Has Mo gone again now? 😕

Think Mr T came back for her when we got the glimpse of him doing karaoke so I guess she left then.

I hope that isn't the end of TCG...loved him and Serena with her slimey dinosaur insult!

The best of Holby is when they bring back the previous characters, which says it all really.

I liked how Nicky (sp?) stood up to Jac in the changing room at the end, she sorted out her own thoughts and sounded much stronger.

TGC is slimy and will be a good baddie. But I fully agree that the best they can now do is bringing back oldies. Needs a shake-up!

I heard last week the award was named after Anton Meyer (the original and best. Swoon...). Does that mean the character is deceased? Is there no chance at all of him riding in on a white charger to save them all?!

I reckon I only started watching Holby (City) about 8/9 years ago so all these oldies are news to me.

I like Nikki. I love that they're using her wet-ness to show the difference between her & baby-Bernie. She's got all the stereotypical female socialisation traits - bending over backwards to get people to like her even when that puts her at a disadvantage. He, OTOH, will happily walk all over other people & lie about cheating. I hope they continue with this story & we get to see her overcoming her "niceness" when it disadvantages her.

I think a Niki/Cameron romance story is probably on the cards though.

Watching the New Year's Eve episode road trip so haven't read the whole thread because I am an episode behind.

Jac actress could be - did you notice that when they first arrived at the conference venue (and during daytime events) she was wearing a very informal outfit (more so than any other women present) with a baggy top over trousers? Hiding a bump?

Yes and they've done some kind of forced angles of her in recent weeks too.

I did notice the big winter coat which she seemingly travelled in and the randomly ill so needed a blanket etc

She said on Instagram this week that she was down the gym because of the pregnancy comments after the red dress...so maybe not.

I thought the randomly ill was because the actress had such a stinking cold they had to reference it!

I used to see Rosie Marcel at the gym. Back in the day before I had kids....

The red dress was so weird it did look like it must have been made to hide something.

I watched the episode last night and I teber thinking, in a scene where we saw Jac from behind as she walked away from a bedside, that her figure just looked different somehow...almost wider around her back and hips and I did wonder if she was pregnant.

I also like Nikki. She used to annoy me when she first joined the cast but now that her character is emerging I enjoy seeing how she develops as both a doctor and as a person.

I remember TCG from earlier days but was the woman who is running the YAU with him in Holby before too? She seems really familiar but I don’t know if it’s because she’s a past character or whether I recognise her from something else.

She was in Monarch of the Glen and that series about a vet in Africa.

Can I mention a new character here or is that for the spoiler thread? Swoony actor alert!
