lol at yarp Grin hot fuzz fan?

last night's seemed better than last week's, but the talking loudly in the swimming pool bit was niggling me kept wanting to SSHhhhh them!

Izzy24 · 21/09/2018 16:55

So.........
First day off and no commitments for ages. Was going to do masses of stuff but I watched last night’s episode on catch up and wondered if any more episodes were available.

Reader, they were Smile

Several hours later I’ve watched the lot - with subtitles halfway through which helped a lot.

Loved it!

starfleet · 21/09/2018 17:00

They filmed a lot of the first episode at the bottom of my street!

My friend who lives a couple of miles down the road found Will Mellor standing on her drive when she came back from the school run one afternoon as they were also filming on her street Smile

IntentsAndPorpoises · 21/09/2018 17:59

I'd like to find Will Mellor on my driveway

diddl · 21/09/2018 19:46

I've just watched the first epSad.

I preferred Joy to Dinah!

Yogafailure · 21/09/2018 21:30

I've binge watched the lot and so did DH although he insists he doesn't watch it 🤣 As usual he has a better grip on what's happening than I do 🙈

Not my favourite series out of the 3.

chickhonhoneybabe · 21/09/2018 21:32

I’ve watched the lot on catch up. It was good, but not as good as the last series.

IntentsAndPorpoises · 21/09/2018 21:41

Waaah. Why don't I have sky. Still only two episodes on All4 :(

Izzy24 · 21/09/2018 22:02

Well I enjoyed it.
(But I couldn’t take Marilyn seriously because I just kept seeing the character she played in Home Front.)

ISendNoComplimentsToYourMother · 22/09/2018 09:25

I’m finding Dinah more & more irritating each series. Too hotheaded. You’d never want someone like that on your team IMO. Love Viv each series even more tho!

Davros · 22/09/2018 17:51

I agree about Dinah

diddl · 22/09/2018 20:27

What ep is everyone up to?

I've watched 2 so far.

Caroline is very annoying & involved somehow, I think.

Peachydream · 23/09/2018 20:31

Only just caught up, DP made me wait till he got back from working away.

Paul Ritter as Millar is the best character, he is brill, such a scene stealer. Though I always expect him to say 'nice bit of squirrel'. Dinah isn't at her best this series.

The far right group & the security bloke are I think both red herrings, too obvious. There is always a twist!

DarlingNikita · 25/09/2018 15:49

Is it me or is the undercover woman in the far right group a bad actor? She seems really wooden.

I'm finding the whole thing a bit underwhelming so far, sad to say. Maybe the mayoral contest stuff will reveal itself as very significant and get more interesting, but for now I'm not really gripped by it.

Is Paul Ritter the pathologist/forensics/whatever that is chap with glasses? He's hilarious.

sluj · 26/09/2018 08:10

If you like Paul Ritter, give 'Friday Night Dinner' a try. Half hour comedy sitcom available on All 4 and possibly Amazon/ Netflix.
I love both these shows.

ISendNoComplimentsToYourMother · 26/09/2018 21:39

I’ve watched the whole series. No spoilers from me except for one.....

It’s brilliant!!

BretonStripe · 26/09/2018 23:10

Is it worth sticking with it then yeah? I loved S1, enjoyed S2...but so far this season isn't entertaining or gripping me at all.Sad I've only watched the first two episodes tho as watching it in realtime. Will watch ep3 tomorrow night then decide whether to bother carrying on or not...

ISendNoComplimentsToYourMother · 27/09/2018 07:13

This isn’t as good as the other 2 series but it’s perfectly acceptable. Better than the tosh that was the bodyguard anyway!

chickhonhoneybabe · 27/09/2018 20:06

It’s not as good as the first two series, but worth a watch.

Killing eve on BBC 1 is bloody brilliant!

groundcontroltomontydon · 28/09/2018 08:47

ItsLikeNew yarp Grin
So much to take in - you really have to give it your full attention don't you?? I'll have to give last night's episode another go, I was trying to multitask and missed too much.

PrincessConsuelaBannanaHammock · 30/09/2018 10:24

BretonStripe stick with it. It's not as good as the previous series but it's worth sticking with. I said at the end of episode 2 it wasn't gripping me very much but I did then binge the next 4 episodes!

chickhonhoneybabe I've been going to start watching killing eve, is it worth watching?

BretonStripe · 30/09/2018 12:44

@PrincessConsuelaBannanaHammock thanks! Might binge it during the day when everyone is at work/school.

Agree with whoever said it moves so quickly and they talk so fast...you have to really concentrate.

Not seen Killing Eve but heard good things? Not enough time to watch all these good programmes! Need to start The Crown S2, Ozark S2, am watching Weeds, No Offence, This is Us...!

ISendNoComplimentsToYourMother · 01/10/2018 15:49

Killing Eve is fab- binged watched them all.
