BlancheM · 31/08/2018 07:26

I haven't watched but saw the video of Ryan play punching Roxy. Sorry but it's not ok. She's clearly been massively triggered, this can happen when men act out violence to women! He doesn't know what she's been through

icelollycraving · 31/08/2018 07:33

The fb cbb page is full of support for Jason Grimshaw. He will be ok. I think it’ll be one of the quieter hm who are at risk of going.

Gingerivy · 31/08/2018 07:36

I would totally understand that BlancheM but she's been play fighting with others, especially Ben, and been absolutely fine. I've had an abusive relationship and stuff like that can really upset me, but I don't go around instigating it with others myself.

If she's genuinely upset, that's one thing, but the way she immediately and repeatedly demanded that he be booted is a bit odd. And he did apologise immediately, and she was all happy and partying and singing one minute, then crying the next. Frankly, I think she has mental health problems.

Whisky2014 · 31/08/2018 07:37

Blanche so why doesnt she leave and get the support she would need if thats the case? Would you stay?
It was a play fight. She boxes with Ben. It's a fucking joke! It's a ruse to cover up the shambles with Ben. Open your eyes.

Gingerivy · 31/08/2018 07:41

Here's the pool thing. It looks like he was trying to keep them from falling in.

rainbowlou · 31/08/2018 07:44

Her Instagram page has been deleted, think it got quite brutal last night.

She doesn’t want to google herself when she gets out 🙈

Hippywannabe · 31/08/2018 07:49

I made my first ever complaint to Ofcom, it only takes a couple of minutes (link on previous page). I really think that she has crossed the line and should be removed.

BlancheM · 31/08/2018 07:54

I've been away so will catch up when I'm back so have only had that online footage to go on so far.
Roxanne aside, I really don't think can start saying how women should or shouldn't be acting, you can be hit by a man one minute then boxing with another the next and no questions should be asked.

rainbowlou · 31/08/2018 07:58

She called him a woman beater, accused him of beating her up, said he punched her repeatedly like a boxer punching a punchbag..that’s not on.
He didn’t do that at all so yes, in my opinion, questions should be asked.

Faez · 31/08/2018 07:59

Did I hear Hardeep say "I didn't touch her, she did this" to Chloe after she says she thought Chloe jumped in?

Faez · 31/08/2018 08:00

sorry after Chloe said she thought Roxanne jumped

Whisky2014 · 31/08/2018 08:02

Blanche It didnt even look like he touched her let alone hit her hard it hurt. It's pathetic. And you absolutely can question it when she is saying she wants him removed. Wake up!

Faez · 31/08/2018 08:04

oh sounds like he said "you did this" after listening again. It did look like he gave her a couple of taps to the back right at the very start but as others have said she holds the other side.

MrsJayy · 31/08/2018 08:10

I missed the punch in the stomach it was a blink and miss it what the heck is Roxanne talking about I feel scared to sleep in the bedroom . She is such a weirdo

BlancheM · 31/08/2018 08:15

Wake up to what? For the third time, I haven't watched it.
I said: Roxanne aside we shouldn't be questioning. Generally speaking. Roxanne aside. There's no right or wrong way to be a victim.
TBH I think it's more out of line that mental illness is being used as a slur all over Twitter ect. Why not call her vindictive or manipulative rather than tar everyone with a mental health condition with the same brush like that's the reason why.

PrincessScarlett · 31/08/2018 08:22

BlancheM, in the nicest possible way, you need to watch the show before commenting. Yes, it's right to question any potential violent act but the way Roxanne embellishes and exaggerates it and is obviously putting on a performance is disgusting.

Gingerivy · 31/08/2018 08:35

BlancheM When I said I think she has mental health problems, I did not mean it as a slur. I meant it in a realistic way. She's already stated she has huge issues because of her family history. She got engaged to her fiance after a week, but is acting oddly with the guy on the show, now this incident with Ryan. She seems to be emotionally a bit fragile. Perhaps she has some mental health issues that are exacerbated by being in the BB house.

IgglePigglesAnnoyingGiggle · 31/08/2018 08:35

@BlancheM, watch it when you get a chance. Roxanne has fabricated the whole thing. You can literally see the cogs turning in her head as she formulates her plan in the bedroom. She's clutching the opposite side to where he tapped her - if he even did that much.

If they asked any of the other housemates about it - who were present at the time - they would all be horrified I imagine.

She is a nasty little liar and it is people like her who make it difficult for actual victims of abuse to come forward, for fear of not being believed.

Loonoon · 31/08/2018 08:47

I agree you need to watch it BlancheM. You don’t need to watch the whole show, it’s all over the internet.

I watched it live and had to rewind twice to see what the incident she referred to was. Then I watched it again when she later referred to him using her like a boxer with a punchbag. And I’ve watched close ups and slow-motion footage this morning.

My natural inclination was to believe her but the more I see the actual footage the more incredulous I become. What actually happened bears no resemblance to what she describes. He is messing about shadow boxing around her whilst the general conversation . He doesn’t appear to make contact but if he did, it was so fleeting that she doesn’t flinch or even seem to blink. Sally watches the whole thing and walks by, chatting without a second glance.

This has made me so uncomfortable - I want to believe women who say they have been intimidated or made uncomfortable by men’s behaviour. We have put up with too much casual sexism and abuse over the years to back track now. if Roxie’s allegations were true then it is quite right that Ryan should lose his good name, career and reputation over this. But from what I have seen it doesn’t appear to be true, it looks like she has, for whatever reason, hugely distorted a very innocent bit of by-play.

I read somewhere (I don’t know if it’s true) that she has suffered DV in the past so his behaviour might have been triggering for her. That’s the only slant I can put on this that might make her behaviour understandable rather than over dramatic or manipulative.

I hate writing this as it feels like victim blaming but in the context of the house and the relationships and dynamics we have seen, I cannot see he did anything wrong, let alone the violence she accused him of.

nicenewdusters · 31/08/2018 08:48

Just watched the "incident" through the link on here. Had to watch it several times, and thought there must be footage missing, as it was so clearly a few seconds of play fighting.

Roxanne called him over to her in a room with others present. He decided to be a "woman beater" at that moment, and on camera?

Almost from the start there's been a lot of boxing with cushions, including by Roxanne. She's a very physical person, flicks t-towels at people, jumps on them for a piggy back. I'd be surprised if any of the HMs felt she didn't like normal, well meaning physical interaction.

She's an utter disgrace.

MrsJayy · 31/08/2018 08:58

She is clearly trying to deflect from the Ben nonsense she is courting sympathy it is nasty selfish behaviour, poor Ryan

IgglePigglesAnnoyingGiggle · 31/08/2018 09:07

@loonoon I would be inclined to agree with you re the trigger thing after reading something similar this morning but I honestly think she has orchestrated the whole thing and whatever has allegedly happened to her in her past hasn't even crossed her mind.

It's even made me doubt her account of this serious car accident she was in - she talks about "feeling herself letting go" and willing herself not to die - she came out of that accident with two sprained wrists and barely a scratch on her.

Her calling him a woman beater was obviously a tongue-in-cheek comment and she then refers to him as "Jason Grimshaw off Coronation Street" rather than Ryan, which again comes across to me as a light-hearted reference and then I swear you just see a light-bulb ping on above her head as she thinks "ooh, I can roll with this and get some great airtime".

MrsJayy · 31/08/2018 09:09

She also wants voted out so she doesn't have to deal with Ben and she can get back to her Lee

Susiesoap7 · 31/08/2018 09:17

She has been watching Jeremy Kyle!
I'm a victim! He was play fighting like kids at school!
Silly bitch, get a life in the real world
Or has work dried up in the real world?
