I think the animals are her job. To be fair, its a bit mean to edit the emotional story of the au pair meeting her father for the first time against the mother and her new au pairs.

bananabump · 04/06/2007 21:55

She said "it's like spending christmas with the mafia" to her two italian au pairs????

How offensive is that?

Hope they shit in her shoes before they leave.

MamaMaiasaura · 04/06/2007 21:56

What a fucking stuck up bitch. Perhaps her son just actually wants her and not an au pair!

Pinkchampagne · 04/06/2007 21:57

Awful woman!

Totally agree with everything said, apart from "faults on both sides." I don't think Michelle, the Au Pair had any faults as far as I could see. Okay so she told a little white lie about smoking, but she really wanted the job, didn't smoke around the little boy, and bloody hell, who wouldn't want a few fags having to work for that over-bearing, stuck up, pompous bitch. She is a thoroughly horrible woman. I thought it was sad that the little lad was struggling not to cry when his witch of a Mother said that Michelle had gone. Poor boy has had to try and get used to people coming and going. Continuity isn't a word she understands, clearly. Nor is consistency.

I bloody well hope she is a Mumsnetter so she can read all that's been posted about her!

Surely shovelling animal shit isn't part of an Au pair's job anyway? And as for being in at 9.00 p.m. Outrageous!! And don't take a shower before 8.00 a.m. or after 8.00 p.m. ...

Vile woman. I'd give Michelle a job. I thought she was a nice girl, and I'm glad she found her Dad.

Baby reindeer and wallaby v. cute.

Hey, those two italian girls should leave a horse's head in the cow's bed!!!

Whoooosh · 05/06/2007 09:53

MP-LOL at horses head in the bed

MummyPenguin · 05/06/2007 09:54

I was going to say preferably one of her own horses, but that seemed really harsh, specially to an animal lover like myself!!

Whoooosh · 05/06/2007 09:59

Can I just say that I had a pet wallaby for years but it was* not me....that woman was deranged but sadly will continue to get short term slae labour whilst the poor little boy gets more and more confused.

Do we think there was a husband around who just didn't want to be filmed?

MummyPenguin · 05/06/2007 10:05

I wondered about a Husband. If she has got one, the guy deserves a medal!

I have never come across anyone so lacking in humour as that animal woman. I think she is missing

NKF · 05/06/2007 13:11

She did have a sense of humour. Didn't you catch the Mafia joke. Hilarious!

My mouth was open for most of the programme.

MamaMaiasaura · 05/06/2007 13:14

not any ruder than my comments

binker · 05/06/2007 13:17

truly vile woman and didn't like the boy much either - too tight to pay a proper nanny's wage and ridiculous rules - couldn't bear to watch after the first 15 mins

Did anyone get the impression that the employer was a bit needy? She got all weird when the girl had friends.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 05/06/2007 13:47

Very much so. I am suspecting a bad divorce or something.
When she said ' girls come over here, we give them a good start, they get to know us then make friends and leave for better paid jobs and a better life' as if that was something wrong.
