It was such a LONG day. We arrived 1pm and had our bake checked out by the Producer, then went off for an hour or so and then back till nearly 10pm!!

Extra slice is now an hour so there's lot's more to it. It was like being at a Comedy club... Jo Brand with 3 comedians. But it did go on and on.

Some of the bakers sat at the tables at the front (like us) took it sooooo seriously with their bakes... me and DD not so much as what we did was a bit shit and we'd spent hours the next before and were drinking wine trying to get it right Grin

The trouble with the first few weeks is that there are so many contestants that it's hard to keep track of them all and they have to rush the judging (or what they show of the judging) for half of them.
